Have you watched Saaye. She was part of a handicapped family with a blind father (Shakeel), a superstitious mother (Safia Khairi) and a developmentally delayed sister.

Need names of two dramas from PTV Quetta in late 80's

  1. A play in which Laila Zuberi acted as a کوڑے سے چیزیں تلاش کرنے والی لڑکی
  2. A play in which Naseem Tariq (who later became newscaster) acted as a cancer patient who dies at the end.

both were part of some series.

Finally finished khoya hua admi, superb acting by both of them.

I couldn't understand the end.why did he commit suicide? Or was it a suicide or he just fell of his balcony .

How did he recover from nervous breakdown that quickly?
Why was he not accepting his brother's offer?

Its a great thread and i m new in this, really nice to see discussion about golden era of PTV, many childhood memories r with PTV. i want to ask that anyone remember a long play from Rawalpindi center name"NOOR BAAF" i think, anyone can give more detal about that. thanks

These dramas were probably from series Kirdar. The series was directed by Kazim Pasha , who later produced serial Chaon having Laila Zuberi in lead. Kazim Pasha’s wife ‘Fehmida Nasreen’ produced ‘Koshish’ a series for children and one of the Laila Zuberi’s daughter won PTV award in child star category for that series.

Is teesra kinara available on youtube? Mama Seemi main Saba Parvez, Waseem Abbas, Farooq Zameer hain. Its also based on psychology

There was a series about kids "TIK TIK COMPANY" i remember but don't remember the cast of that.....Any one can give detail

may be Sajid Hasan and Arshad Mehmood were in caste. too old and not repeated
