The role of the Policeman in drama Kashkol was done by Hassaam Qazi (R.I.P.)

The role of the Policeman in drama Kashkol was done by Hassaam Qazi (R.I.P.)
Hassam Qazi was a briliant actor. started his career from 'Chaon' directed by Kazim Pasha, Hassam did many memorable roles in Quetta TV dramas including : Sunbul, Safar (written by Zafar Mairaj *ing: Naila Jafri, Anwar Iqbal, Moona Junejo), Chakar e Azam. He also played lead role in Islamabad TV drama Sangchoor (directed by Iqbal Ansari *ing: Bushra Ansari, Ayaz Naik, Shazia Parveen). In Marvi (from Karachi center), he played the feudal youth Umar which was considered his most remarkable performance.

Indeed he was a great actor, he also played the role of King Akber in a play TanSen, in which Asif Raza Mir played the lead role of TanSen. Zeba Bakhtiyar & Jahanzeb Gorjani were also there. That was a nice short play.

Yes. Taan Sen was a really gr8 effort by PTV Islamabad. Written by: Haseena Moin and directed by: Khwaja Najm ul Hassan. Nayyar Kamal, Sajid Hassan and his wife Shakeela also played major roles in that musical classic of PTV. Arshad Mehmood composed melodious songs which were nicely rendered by Nayyara Noor, Tina Sani, Hamid Ali Khan and Tahira Syed. The drama is a must watch.

Any one remember drama 'Kohar' written by: Haseena Moin Directed by: M Zaheer Khan *ing( Mareena Khan, Junaid Butt (90's famous model), Shakeel, Fareeha Altaf (lux style fame) and PPP Minister Fozia Wahab. If anyone have this drama, pls upload or post a link. It would be very funny to watch Fozia Wahab acting in real terms.

Kohar was a beautiful serial, I saw part of it when it was retelecasted, loved its background music. If I am not wrong Marina played dual character and it all gets messed up in one scene when she is talking to Junaid on phone. Jamshed Ansari acted as a gardener and his dialogs were hilarious. It was probably the first serial in which Saleem Sheikh, Yasir Akhtar & Sidra Zaheer (cute little girl in that drama, daughter of Zaheer Khan and Humera Zaheer) acted. I am also looking for this drama for so long but still no success.

Dear rafe78, thanks for sharing the exclusive videos, I would like to request if you have that episode of Comedy Comedy in which team of Fifty Fifty came in the show. I think that was the only time I saw Shoaib Mansoor (director of Fifty Fifty) in front of camera in any TV program. Thanks in advance ..

Saleem Shaikh & Yasir Akhtar started acting well before 'Kohar'. They first appeared in Shahzad Khalil's 'Dastak' where Ayaz Naik and Shazia Akhtar (sister of Yasir Akhtar) played the lead. Saleem Nasir played the srtict father of Shazia very well. I watched re-telecast of this drama on PTV-2 in 1995-96.I think, it was originally tele-casted in Mid 80's. Saleem Shaikh's 'Sunehre Din' was also telecasted before 'Kohar' in Late 80's, whereas Kohar was probably telecasted in 1990-1991.

yasir akhter used to come in ads as a child artist....i have seen ads of ptv with yasir as a kid.

Pls post links. Yaasir also directed some dramas for STN (If I'm not mistaken 'Fringe Benefits' was directed by him. He also directed Sard Aag for Hum TV and appeared in a small role in Umera Ahmed's 'La hasil'.
Shazia Akhtar was lately seen in ' Ek Pal' Faheem Burney's Shahkaaaaar also *ing: Aamna Haq (with heavy make-up) tele-casted during breaks between ICC Worldcup 1999

Thanks muqawwee123 for the info, however Sunehrey Din was telecasted after Kohar around 1990-91. I remember because my brother went to PMA during those days and we used to watch Sunehrey Din and assume that same ragging would be happening to my brother :) I think Kohar was shown in late 80's, not exactly sure about its time.

Which specific episodes of Gulls n Guys are you looking for? I once bought its CDs way back, so I will try if I can find them and upload the required episodes. Shoaib Mansoor is a genius, there is no match to his class & creativity. His productions are ever green.

I could only find 'Salman Ahmed's' episode on Youtube. I want to watch all the episodes especially episodes of Junaid Jamshed and Abdullah of Alpha Bravo Charlie.
