ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Monday he would wind up his 68-day sit-in if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif honestly declared all of his assets, softening his stance of staying put at the D-Chowk with his supporter till the premier resigned.

The announcement follows a shift in the PTI’s focus from its sit-in near the Parliament House to holding public gatherings in different cities to compel the government to announce re-elections over allegations of rigging in the last year’s polls.

“I will call off the sit-in if you, Mr Nawaz Sharif, are ready to declare your ‘real assets’ before the nation,” he said while addressing the participants of the sit-in.

“I believe Nawaz Sharif may himself not be aware of all of his huge assets in and outside the country,” he said.

Addressing PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said: “I will recognise you as leader if you ask your uncle Nawaz Sharif and your father Asif Ali Zardari to declare before the nation their real assets’ which they earned after a lot ofhard work’. If you fail then I will perform this task.”

He said Mr Zardari was raising questions about the funding of the PTI’s sit-in and rallies. “Your party spent a huge amount for its recent public meeting in Karachi. The same amount will be enough to carry on the PTI sit-in for three years,” he said.

He said, “We just use a container and a sound system” and the PTI’s supporters participated in gatherings without any pressure.

Mr Khan invited a TV channel and its anchor facing suspension of licence by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority and a ban on the directives of a Lahore High Court judge to run their programme from his container.

He demanded a Rs15 decrease in petroleum prices and announced that his party would protest on Wednesday outside district press clubs across the country against a hike in electricity tariff.

“My dear supporters, your training is under way during the sit-in and it is possible that someone among you may become the chairperson of the PTI in future,” he said.

it's safe for him to make such statement because he knows full that N$ will never leave his job as it is his sultanat.

Well NS fans and the clowns like Saad Rafique and Dar who are crying about dharnas and how they should be finished, should ask their leader Nawaz Sharif to declare his assets and send Imran home, and 'save the country'? What is so bad and hard about that?

آج جب میں یعنی باباکوڈا تحریک انصاف کی ویب سائٹ پر گیا تو مختلف لنکس کھنگالتے ہوئے ایک لنک لیڈرشپ کے اثاثوں کا بھی ملا۔ پہلے شاہ محمود قریشی کے اثاثوں کی لسٹ دیکھی۔ اس مخدوم زادے کے پاس اللہ کا دیا بہت کچھ ھے۔ بے شمار زمینیں، ملتان، اسلام آباد اور لاہور سمیت کئی شہروں میں جائدادیں اور کئی کئی گھر۔ مزے کی بات یہ ھے کہ اس لسٹ کے مطابق یہ ساری پراپرٹی مخدوم صاحب نے یا تو وراثت میں پائی اور یا پھر انہ*یں تحفتاً ملی۔
میں یعنی باباکوڈا ایک وسیع حلقہ احباب رکھتا ہوں، اپنی ذاتی زندگی میں عام طور پر لوگوں کے ساتھ دوستانہ تعلقات بنائے رکھتا ہوں، حتی الامکان لوگوں کی مدد بھی کردیتا ہوں لیکن مجال ھے مجھے کبھی کسی نے تحفے میں کوئی پراپرٹی تو دور کی بات، نوکیا کا کوئی استعمال شدہ 3310 بھی دے دیا ھو۔

سچی بات بتاؤں، مجھے تو شاہ محمود قریشی کے اثاثوں کی تفصیل پڑھ کر ان پر بہت ترس آیا۔ بے چارے کی قسمت میں اپنے ہاتھ سے کما کر پراپرٹی بنانا لکھا ہی نہیں۔ ساری عمر یا تو وراثتی جائیداد اور یا پھر دوسروں کے تحفوں کا محتاج رھا۔

اس سے آگے پڑھنا میرے لئے ممکن نہ رھا۔ میرے آنسو خودبخود جاری ہونا شروع ہوگئے۔ قریب تھا کہ میں دھاڑیں مار مار کر رونا شروع کردیتا، میں نےجہانگیر ترین کے اثاثوں پر کلک کردیا۔
ترین صاحب نے بڑی چالاکی سے جائیداد تو کم دکھائی، کاروبار بھی کچھ شو نہیں کیا بس ایک “شئیرز” کی مد میں کئی کروڑ روپے دکھا دیئے ہیں۔
ترین صاحب کے پاس رینج روور گاڑی، دو پراڈو، اور کئی چھوٹی گاڑیاں ہیں لیکن حیرانی کی بات یہ تھی کہ ان کے اثاثوں میں اس جہاز کا کہیں تذکرہ نہیں تھا جس پر وہ خان صاحب کو بٹھا کر پورے ملک کے دورے کرتے ہیں۔
یہ جان کر میری آنکھوں سے ایک دفعہ پھر آنسوؤں کا فوارہ پھوٹ پڑا۔ اتنا معصوم جہانگیر ترین جسے اپنا جہاز تک یاد نہیں رھا۔ ۔ ۔

یہی نشانی ہوتی ھے اللہ کے درویش بندوں کی۔ ایسے ہی لوگوں کو پھر حق حکمرانی بھی ملتا ھے۔ یہی لوگ پھر آگے جا کے تبدیلی بھی لاتے ہیں۔

باباکوڈا کو یقین ھو گیا کہ کیوں خان صاحب اتنے اعتماد سے ہر جلسے میں کہتے ہیں کہ
تبدیلی آ نہیں رہی، تبدیلی آگئی ھے!!! بقلم خود باباکوڈا

This shows his mental condition. I am afraid if he has some mental disorder or something damaged in his brain when PTians pushed him from the lifter and his head hit on mental parts of the lifter, caused him permanent neurological impairment. How the hack he will run the country as PM?????

This is a master stroke from IK, he knows that Nawaz Sharif will never disclose his assets, same goes with PPP leadership. Aakhir saari umar ki kamaayi hay yeh.
