Guys, many people made it possible to appear in Lahore and Karachi jalsa and I hope they will feel proud in future when telling the stories of jalsa how they attended it and part of PTI revolution.
To be honest with you, I m not aware of political realities of Baluchistan.
Do you think Quetta jalsa help him or final stamp of victory in current political situation of Pakistan?
First Lahore, then Karachi, next Quetta & Peshawar, if they show the same enthusiasm in next two venues - the Islamabad will be automatically landed in the "jhooli".
Well a national leader must try and reach out to everyone, every major ethnicity and city, and Quetta is an important city of Pakistan
I would like this to be followed by a jalsa in Peshawar (? 14th August) - however in the current environment, ensuring fool-proof security there w'd be a tough task IMO
Imran should walk any lenght to garner support in Balochistan, even if he has to climb mountains. He should stay in Balochistan occassionaly and should meet Balochis as he is the man in charge. Team Imran should conduct a grassroot level ground review and prepare a clear policy. No lame excuses or empty promises.

Or perhaps he should start with building a college or a hospital for Baluchi people. I'm sure the wealth spent on chairs can be used for other more beneficial purposes.

Many people mistakenly think that Balochs are the only people living in Balochistan. Balochistan has around 40% of pushtun population and around 10% of punjabis and urdu-speaking people. Unfortunately, tribal loyalties are entrenched in Balochs in Balochistan and no matter what happens, they almost always vote for their sardars. No offence, but its just how they do things........always voting for nationalist parties (nationalist being a polite term for ultra-myopic). Imran will actually be getting the support from the pushtuns and punjabis in Balochistan. On 14th August this year, the pushtuns and punjabis were on the streets doing dances and distributing sweets. You had to be there to see the thousands of people on streets and the magic in air and then you would see why we can say that Balochistan will always be part of Pakistan. I hope the trend will continue when Imran visits inshAllah.

InshaAllah... I just want IK to deal with this issue. Balochistan needs a lot of love and care. I wish I could personally go there and shake hands with my Balochi brothers .... :)
PTI has constituted a task force to come up with a roadmap for the Quetta rally and a strategy to make the rally a success. The recommendations would be submitted to the Central Executive Committee for approval. I understand that the homework is on :)
Though he attracted some crowds in previous jalsa, the party has still not taken-off. The main reason is lotas and backing by estabilishment. When I compare with him great Bhutto, he was able attract masses both in cities and in villages at his own. The magic of speaches were spell bound, where millions of people came to listen to him. And yes no chairs:)His party members were almost new and young. Ik has never tried to go in villages and I doubt if he would attract big crowd in Quetta either. Balochis are now anti-Pakistan, I don't know how Ik will convince them to be their true friend and savior. A big question mark??????
The thing is that had this government adopted pro Baloch policies the situation there would have improved. This is the biggest dis service PPP has done in the shape of Balochistan, and now I agree anyone would have a hard time in convincing people over there that he is serious in resolving the issue.

Great intentions from your side, but slightly racist I would say. Balochistan is not OWNED by balochs. More than half the population of Balochistan is non-Baloch including Urdu Speaking, Punjabi, Pathans, Sindhis, Siraikis. All these nations have been suffering along with the Balochs in Balochistan since no jobs in Balochistan means even lesser jobs for these nations as unfortunately whatever meager jobs become available are allotted on lisanist in Balochistan. You only have to walk into ANY govt. department in Balochistan to see that pushtuns and Balochs have divided the jobs 50-50 regardless of competence or any other thing.
So when people talk about Balochistan, they should also be addressing the grievances of all nationalities living in Balochistan.
