PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member National Assembly (MNA) Murad Saeed’s BS (Hons) results have been held back by the University of Peshawar, according to a university spokesman.
Murad Saeed, who was elected as MNA from Swat, was a student of BS (Hons) at the university’s Environmental Sciences department from 2005 to 2009.
But according to the varsity administration, Murad Saeed had not passed his final examination. Sources said Mr. Saeed then appeared in exams for two subjects on March 2, 2015, after the department of Environmental Sciences made especial arrangements for him.
University of Peshawar spokesman Akhtar Amin, while talking to Dawn, said vice chancellor Dr. Rasool Jan took notice of the incident and ordered that Murad Saeed’s results be held back. The vice chancellor has also formed an inquiry committee to investigate the matter.
“The committee will investigate whether the department conducted the examination under established rules and regulation and whether these exams were held in a transparent manner,” said the university spokesperson.
The inquiry committee will be headed by the dean of the Numerical and Physical Sciences department, Dr. Gulzar Khan, and will submit its report to the vice chancellor.

****PESHAWAR: Pakhtun Students Federation (PSF) claims Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Murad Saeed allegedly cleared three stalled papers in one hour and received his results on the same day at the University of Peshawar.
The MNA had failed to clear examinations for three courses, namely Remote Sensing, Introduction to Environmental Sciences and Ecology from semesters 5, 6 and 7 respectively. The university administration allowed him to sit for the papers after a gap of over four years on March 2, and within an hour he had passed the exams with flying colours.
PSF activists protested against the alleged violation of SoP. While talking to The Express Tribune, PSF Provincial Secretary Information Muqarab Khan questioned how the university administration was able to conduct such an unprecedented examination and provide special treatment to a student who was not eligible. “The student has to first attend the classes and qualify for the assessment,” he added. UoP Spokesperson Akhtar Amin told The Express Tribune the PTI MNA had failed one paper while the results of two were awaited. Speaking on behalf of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Rasul Jan, Amin said the department concerned conducted the examination without prior approval, adding an enquiry committee has been formed and investigation is under way.
Meanwhile, UoP Environmental Sciences Department Chairman Shahida Zakir said the examinations were conducted under direct orders of Vice Chancellor Dr Rasul Jan.

Pakistan main kisi politician ki reputation ruined nahi hoti. No repo issue in Pakistan. Kuch bhi ker loo, awam ko dubara sai ullu banaoo. Sub bhool jatey hai short term memory loss wali awam.

Isn’t the revelations done five years ago in “Super Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan” has already been proved??? Imran Khan may be an honest person but not a good politician. He should have merged with PPP or any other party of his choice perhaps JI, a long time ago. He can not handle Paki corrupt politicians.

You probably have comprehension problem but what sachay said makes more sense, IK has failed to make sure his own party members/workers are in line with party's policy/motto etc.
