On a serious note. I do agree with you Khoji Bhai... There is nothing special about arranging Big jalsas. We Karachiites have experienced many including Million Marches by Jama'at and PPP's Karsaaz jalsa on 18th October, 2007.

But its a big thing for PTIians becuase IK was not allowed to enter the province just 4 years ago and now he could manage to get such a big audience. You are right that there is some kind of support or probably reconciliatory move from MQM, as is evident from AH's statement soon after jalsa and IK strategy not to talk against anyone. Good for Karachi's peace.

And who do you think allowed PTI to hang banners in mqm areas without any bayanbazi? Even Imran was coy and said to cool matters when some reporter asked him about MQM joining PTI, when he doesn't care right now who is joining him left and right be it JUI, PPP, PML-n, PML-q etc.

To all those who are complaining about the Jalsa

Who thought after the bad law and order situation in Karachi Where People were so afraid of even leaving their homes

They came out cz of Imran Khan they are fed up and they need a change

MQM cant do anything what they have only 20-25 seats

I like it that imran is focusing on core issues right now instead of getting side tracked. Now, only if he was a little left of center and removed some apprehensions about his policies like agricultural tax and keep his party candidates clean (no azam swati characters), then I would support him wholeheartedly. Right now, my position is that Pakistan is in a free fall, so might as well try imran khan as well since how low can pakistan go if he fails?

politically, MQM and PTI agree on justice and shifting of power to people as both parties manifesto suggest.

Waleed he wanted to say that MQM has accommodated PTI for today’s jalsa. It would be difficult if MQM has shown resistence today and during preparation (hanging banners), etc. If MQM has no hold in the city, then you can’t blame them for mess on May 12, 2007 incident.

MQM guys did take down banners in our area. A large percentage of people didn't go becoz of MQM terror. Even I had to hide PTI flag while leaving my area and took it out after reaching Sharah-e-Faisal (A large majority did similar especially those who unfortunately live in MQM dominated areas).. Now you can imagine how much terror MQM has.. And yes, They do take lives on these small matters :)
