Another one is that Hasan Nisar mentions all the time:
"Aik baap aur beta gadhay k saath chaltay ja rahay thay gaon ki taraf, log unko dekh k kehnay lagay k dono chal kyun rahay ho, gadhay pe sawar kyun nahi ho jatay tou baap ne betay ko kaha k baith jao tou kuch dair baad log kehnay lagay k kitna badtameez beta hai baap ko paida chala raha hai tou woh utar k baap ko bitha deta hai aur phir usay dekh k kuch log kehtay hain k kitna zalim hai khud oopar baitha hai aur betay ko paidal chala raha hai :)
phir woh dono hi gandhay par beth gaye. yeh dekh kar log kehne lage, kitne zaalim log hain, masoom say gadhe par itna bojh daal dia hai. is kay baad, dono nay mil kar gadhe ko utha liya aur chalne lage' :)
yaaro abhi tu shuruwaat hain.. yeh tu sirf zumni election thy...
By Elections are hardly a measure to judge any party's popularity, considering our chequered political history.
Having said that I acknowledge that PTI has a lot of ground to cover especially in the rural areas. If the elections are held today PMLN is a sure winner, if PTI does not pick up they will lose even in the general elections. Even in worse case scenario PTI would be the second biggest party in Punjab. PPP would be a liability in the next elections for its coalition partners (especially in Punjab and KP). PMLN is playing constituency based politics and luring "electables" to its folds. The only difference is that when PTI was doing the same there was a lot of hue and cry from the media and now there is pin drop silence.
Remember the results of NA 162 are similar to those in 2008. The only difference is that the winner who was in PPP at that time has joined PMLN and the independent has joined PTI.

but PTI is also luring the electable's and that is the only way for them to secure some seats. Thus the whole notion of PTI popularity come in to question, virtual world is different from real world.

^ We will see, it would be interesting to see the results though as to where the ones disillusioned by both parties and youth will vote...that will decide the urban areas, rural still will circle around personalities.
