Finance minister mentioned that a revenue reforms committee has been put in place to increase tax net. PTI was in favour of increasing tax net but this is a coalition govt & some aspects were included on behest of JI. For example, for local bodies election 2 billions are not enough if you want to automate the system which is PTI’s wish. But that ministry is with JI & not enough allocation for that. Similarly loans were introduced without interest on JI’s wish.
