Actually it is the way how Desi girl suppose to work, with every other guy.
You might want to add another story under this one explaining “but than when I go to get her a drink and come back I see that same desi girl(s) is chitchatting with some handsome white guy or desi guy frequently and laughing.” To make a solid case.
EDIT: I remember talking to this one Desi girl, where after 10 minutes I realized that I was the only one talking and she was just saying “ji…ji…ji…hmm” while looking down or elsewhere but not to me. This isnt being “proud” not “stuckup snob” or whatever negative you call it. If you think back and review the history, a girl may be shy and wont be able to bring herself up to speaking with you.
Later on when I asked her sister if I have done something wrong, she said no, and that her sister has been like this since ever. She wouldnt talk to a guy wo would just walk away from a guy.
Proud Lady:
A girl would talk, but she would be too full of herself and will treat you as if she is treating a servent.
Stuckup Snob: Would talk to you but she would find an excuse to finish the conversation and move on.
