al qaida is product of CIA created in 1980’s from their own mouths, I can only comment on the reality of what we see here not what your pentagon or media hype tell us. Reality is your military with a yearly budget of $708 billion cannot sleep safely, mujahideen and locals giving them sleepless nights one hilarious example even when US training so called afghan army they got snipers backing them up in case they get shot by people they train.

Your survival in afganistan is by dependent on 1 thing only “the pakistan army” without them you are ours if they turn you are sitting ducks!

just answer the question. which core objectives has the US not achieved in full? i listed the core objectives and each has been accomplished.

if karzai is in his house, not in house, in a ditch, etc…how does it matter? if taliban retake kabul, how will it make any difference to the US? it would only make a difference if afghanistan reverted to its policy of hosting terrorists. but we know they will not make that mistake twice. and we know the taliban has been severing its ties with al-qaeda for years.

bottom line is: if the afghan govt collapses and the taliban take the country back to the 7th century, the only loser is the afghan people. that’s sad but it’s not a US problem. all US problems have been addressed.
