Again, we cannot judge the circumstances why people abandon their degrees, its a personal issue, why should we mingle in their life circumstances that might come along, things we don’t know, their situation… can happen that life takes turn, career changes, takes a break, than maybe they start with more power & motivation.

Sure - people make decisions based on a lot of factors.

In this case per PCG there appears to be a pattern of lady doctors quitting their profession. And she pointed it out - rather directly.

One cant sweep everything under the rug. No one has answered the question - is this trend more prevalent on Pak ( or India for that matter) relative to the west.

Rather than shoot the messenger, maybe one can research the facts.

I will google and report what I find. Others are welcome to as well.
