I dunno about Rhia, but I personally don't for a minute believe these qura'nic verses were revealed for the scenario described above.. in fact it appears to be the other way round.. after reading the verses someone concocted the scenario to cast doubts at the religion of not just Abu Talib but Abu Muttalib too.
also note, the prophet according to the narrator, tells Abu Talib to recite "none has the right to be worshipped except allah"... where we are told the 'kalima' is incomplete without adding the other part..
Do you guys even know how to THINK or is it just within your nature to parrot everything regardless?!! It is no wonder Muslims are so messed up today.
Or do you think that the Qur'aanic verse was not revealed after this incident?<<
If you care to READ any tafsir, Maududi’s, anyone’s, u’ll find out this Surah, Surah Baraat/Tauba is a Madani Surah and practically all of the Ayah’s were revealed in 9th year After Hijrah. Revealed in relation to Tabuk.
ABU TALIB DIED 2 YEARS BEFORE HIJRAT
The last verses quoted in the fabricated hadith is from Surah Qasas. The difference between the time of revelation between this verse and that of Surah Baraat is a couple of years. How could they both have been revealed at Abu Talib’s passing away??!!
In Rijaal, Musiayab is an established chronic liar. He doesn’t even stand up to the standard required for the weakest of hadith.
Furthermore the person who concocted this lie obviously didn’t know how to lie properly. He says ‘Abu Talib remained on the faith of Abdul Muttalib. It is a well known historical fact Abdul Muttalib was NOT an idolater. He was a Believer in One God, amongst the Hunafa like his forefathers, neither a Christian nor a Jew but amongst those who followed the faith of Ibrahim (pbuh). The Quran says Ibrahim (as) was Muslim. To say that Abu Talib remained on the faith of his forefathers, the faith of Abdul Mutallib is in fact to testify to the Belief of Abu Talib, that he was a Believer, a Muslim.
“And they say: Be Jews or Christians, you will be on the right course. Say: Nay! (we follow) the religion of Ibrahim, the Hanif, and he was not one of the polytheists.” Quran: 2:136
It is a great travesty of justice to call the protector of Muhammad (saw), Abu Talib an unbeliever. May God forgive those who out of sheer ignorance call a believer an unbeliever.
still wonder how can you sunni say that for a
person... who has the honour of raising Prophet
Mohammad P.B.U.H. who supported him in every step till
he was alive, has the honor of performing his nikkah
and also have the honour that the first dawaat of
islam was held at his house.......
Can anyone explain the why the first meeting of islam (dawaat -e- Zul Asheera ) held at the house of a person whom nauzubillah sunni claims to be Kafir... even though the Qabah was there in Mecca why not there?
I would like to share two shairs....
Aqeedon koh zabano keh nahi dil keeh zaroorat hoti heh
Nahi ailaaan kah mohtaaj Imaan -e- Abu Talib
this ones are the last two verses of a shair
