none of them is correct, because a sleeping person cannot talk and never can such a sentence be said....
change the pronoun to he/she and ask the question again....

Depending on type of bed, if there are no railings/headboard/footboard attached then you will sleep 'on' bed, if it has headboard/footboard then you will be 'in' bed'.

sleeping in bed ... sheets on the bed.
sitting in chair ....
putting on table
for example "knocking at the door" ... "put a sticky on the door"
