I think NetBeans is pretty good for two main reasons with PHP

1 . Auto complete & Intellisense
2 . Jump to definition

I am using NetBeans to learn PHP,this was recommended by the teacher as well.

I haven’t tried it with Notepad++ but I definitely liked Dreamweaver for writing PHP code.

In theory, you can make that table as long as you want, though for the hexadecimal digits, that will cover it.

I used Notpad++ for HTML,it was pretty fine,never used Dreamweaver.

I have used ultraedit for php, perl and python. Works good.

Python and Perl are for professionals I think.
