Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

The verdict on Cheif Justice Iftikhar Chaudry’s pertition is expected this weekend. I have got a feeling after following this case with alot of interest; that the Cheif Justice is going to win this case.

Busharraf party is done a blunder this time and they will pay a heavy price for this. They have already taken back part of the reference which referred to judicial misconduct against Cheif. Now the refernce only consist of miss-use of protocol and powers to favour his son. And I am sure these will also be proven wrong.

Now I am just wondering will Busharraf & Co. are ghairatmand enough to accept that they filed an illegal reference against a Cheif Justice and they (Busharraf party) shud go and do a great service to the nation.

Or what other options do the King’s party have ?

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

No matter what the verdict, it's good for Musharraf.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

they could be “Ghairatmand” in their personal life
BUT
being shame full infront of us(people), is not pakistan’s culture.
No one(in power/or in politics) will ever admit they did some thing wrong.
They never feel they are accountable to us(people of pakistan)

I pray for cheif justice to win.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

I hope so too. This whole process has made him look so innocent. if the decision goes against him, he would become a martyr. We don't want that. We want this peon to be treated like a peon later.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

lolzz
i can't believe you said that.
You sounded like musharaf im self.
I believe if he wins we should be happy. Because that means we have a 3rd institute in pakistan who actually have men with back bones.

1) off course Pak forces
2) Media (thanks to musharaff's initiative)
3) Judiciary (i hope that happens)

Cuz in my humble opinion its men who earn respect for their institutions.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

I hope the Chief Justice is restored, as I would not like the Supreme Court to be burned down like his supporters/legal advisors have threatened.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

CJ issue will not be the biggest issue facing pakistan soon.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

That will be fire works all over the country.
Last nite I heard fox news analyst saying"we will go after pakistan--
in fact we will attak pakistan's area eleminate problem and we wont even tell musharaff-- then musharaf can say"they never told me" "

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

Yes, that's another reason why I want the peon to win.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

So what happens to MUsharaf and what is his reply going to be if the decision is in CJ favor?...what doesn Musharaf lose Politically???? What effect will it have on next Election?

Reality check needed!

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

We all hope that, for the sake of CJ and office of CJ.

What blunder? I think that it was necessary to get CJ name cleared and give some integrity to CJ office.

I believe that what President Musharraf did was very gharatmand thing. It is those who are baighairat who are supporting corruptions, nepotisms, and misuse of power in the country and want no reference against CJ even if he is alleged of that. To me, those corrupts are baigharat who want to brush allegations aside and don’t think that there should be any integrity for CJ, his name or name of his office, neither they believe that it is duty of CJ to clear any allegations against him (through SJC), in most impartial circumstances (himself being suspended). Probably, these corrupts believe that CJ is baighrart as for them, that is what CJ also wants (no enquiry and no chance to clear his name) … as only corrupt and baighariat person would like no enquiry and no chance to clear his name, if there are allegations against him.

What you think? Do you accept it or not that there are serious allegations (and accusations) against CJ on him being involved in nepotism, corruptions, and misusing of power? If there was no accusation there would have been no reference, right? (Accusation being right or wrong does not matter, as accusations means that right or wrong is not determined yet). I accept that these accusations could be right or wrong. Now, what you think, who should decide that these accusations are right or wrong?

If government fabricated these accusations, why they would refer it to SJC (there is no mama chacha of government in SJC, right)? Sending fabricated reference to such respectable body (SJC) would mean, futile efforts, as if allegations are fabricated, SJC would clear the CJ anyhow. Because SJC is body of judges, how can government would expect that SJC would not give proper justice to CJ? Hence obviously, accusations were not fabricated. Obviously, government sending the reference to SJC means that they took the decision out of their own hand and trusted respected judges to do enquiry on accusations and determine that those allegations are right or wrong. It shows, great respect, trust, and honour by government towards the judges (else in past, things use to happen differently).

To not send reference against CJ to judges (SJC) even when there were accusations would mean, letting a CJ function even when that person could be corrupt (I did not say ‘is corrupt’ but I used the word, ‘could be corrupt’, as when there is accusation, it is possible that accusations are correct).

To me, to let a CJ stay as CJ with accusation would be a black spot on CJ posts. So, CJ has to be referred and cleared by other judges, for the integrity of CJ and the post too. If CJ is innocent he goes back to the post and if not, should be out. Obviously, if enquiry is initiated and he was still left to stay in office (not suspended) than he could have influenced the enquiry, and that means enquiry was sham enquiry, hence it was necessary to suspend CJ.

Now, I don’t see how any decent and honest person would like to see CJ alleged of corruptions, nepotisms, and misuse of power, in office. Mr Sho@ib … would you like to see CJ in Pakistan unquestioned who is accused and many in the country started believing him to be involved in nepotism, corruptions, and misuse of office? If you do, than can you tell that if it is honesty and that morally right?

Don’t start saying that if A raped C, than why not B could rape C too? If others do nepotism, corruption and are misusing power, why not reference against them and reference against CJ. As by saying that, you would be saying that CJ is involved in nepotism, corruption, and misusing of power, so you want to save him by referring cases of other corrupts (like him) in office.

Nevertheless, there are still many Pakistanis who are ghairatmand, and would like to see justice to CJ and CJ office, and if he is honest, his name should get clear from all these malicious allegations against him, and that can only happen the way it is happening, that is CJ suspended, reference to SJC followed by just enquiry on CJ while in office, than decision on CJ future. Obviously, if CJ is innocent, he should get reinstated.

I do not think that if CJ is honest person, he should be unhappy about suspension, reference, and enquiry. He would be seeing of days when world would know that independent enquiry (while he was suspended) was done and he was Exonerated of all allegations against him (unless CJ is really corrupt, and than he would try his best to get enquiry stopped).

It is different matter and unfortunate that some dishonest and corrupt people like to see that CJ name and name of CJ office should not be cleared. Maybe, these corrupt and dishonest people (like many Pakistani lawyers) believe that CJ was corrupt and dishonest (as they are) and thus, reference and enquiry against CJ would prove that he is corrupt and dishonest, so they want to stop the enquiry and reference to be taken back. How sad :hoonh:

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

Graceful in defeat...aren't we? But lets wait for the decision before we hit rock bottom.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

5ho@ib: Just imagine, if anyone alleges that you are a thief. Would you like to have an enquiry in unbiased environment and clear your name, or would work hard to stop enquiry and get known as thief? What your ghairat says and what is best for you?

Same way, CJ was alleged as corrupt. Now should he be given chance to clear his name in unbiased way, so that no one could call him corrupt in future, or that there should be no enquiry and he stays known as corrupt forever?

What would be baigharitie? To get himself cleared of corruption by SJC or stay known as corrupt forever, throughout history? If President Musharraf gave CJ a chance to clear himself in front of all then he should be shukur guzar of President Musharraf, unless CJ is really corrupt and that means, CJ try to stop enquiry so that he can stay few more years in office, but than get known as baighairat and corrupt all his life, even after retirement and death (as if not cleared in least biased conditions, all those allegations would stick on him forever, even after his death).

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

For a moderator, you shouldn't attack people personally. You should've been fired a long time ago, long before you hit rock bottom.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

Whether win or lose, this peon's reputation can't be restored. This is what's burning this peon's typists supporters to no end. The crook had to intervene to get his son medical uni admission. Any pakistani who supports this peon is a traitor.

Re: Problems ahead for Busharraf & Co.

If the verdict goes against Mush, and he accepts it peacefully-those calling him a blood thirsty dictator will be left looking silly. Not many dictators get dictated to by courts.
