Ohh fun! Lets start off with the easiest first.

3. Deeba1234 - I am by no means attacking a woman for having whatever preferences she wants. By all means aim for the moon and stars. But realize your actions and preferences do have a role to play in future, whether it be a great marriage or spinsterhood. But answer me this, which I have also asked qtchick. Take my list of 10, and remove 5 things from that list that you can do without in your husband. If 5 is too much for you. Lets do 3. Name three things in the list that is completely unnecessary in your eyes when it comes to the man you may potentially marry, or your present husband.

Three things I could and have given up off ur list are:

2. Educated - my other half left school at 16 and went straight into working for his family.. Being honest if it was an arranged marriage or I hadn’t had the chance to get to know him over several years I would have run a mile. He was making 7 figures tho of course with the bad economy that could have all gone down the drain (and still could) and he would have no ‘back up’..

3. Good family - not really that bothered about his family, all that matters to me is him and his personality, traits etc. His parents are divorced and there have been a few scandals involving his siblings (note: I don’t consider divorce a scandal by any stretch, we are totally fine with that in my family, I mean much more serious things)

4. Hell your dog/cat/parrot loves him - Would be an added bonus if my dog liked him but not a requirement.. he’d soon come round

My situation is a bit different cos I’m not marrying a desi and it’s a love marriage.. generally I think those who go for love are less fussy anyway, we tend to want that main thing - the spark (the chemistry and usually also the physical attraction)- and whatever follows is a plus..
