Yet…you are not physically attracted to him. At all. On any level. No way no how. No possibility of it in the future even if he gets plastic surgery.

Well how would you know 5, 6, and actually many of the other points until you actually married him? So really, you can never have a "perfect" situation. Even the physical attraction thing can change...well actually I have no experience in the area of arranged marriages so I can't say.

is the bold part mutual meaning does he feel respect care about the girl's parents too. is sense of humor included? he's smart but is he arrogant about it? are his parents mean and arrogant or totally down to earth. all these other factors are important. if all these other things are ok and as long as he respects and loves the girl, great, i think the mutual love can happen, why not :p

If there is chemistry and mutual interests there, a not so settled guy (with ambitions), an ok-looking guy would do. If there is chemistry there, how one looks would dissolve away in the attraction created by mutual interests.

But he is not educated and in that regard not well settled. Lets say he is a high school drop out? A hippy. He spends his time being the struggling artist with no real foundations or responsibilities, no steady income. No place of his own and the prospects of him getting a 9 to 5 job are zero.

Would you accept this marriage proposal?
