Prime Minister Imran Khan

Just saw on ptv world recently that a pew poll showed Nawaz Sharif has about 65% support of pakistani people while Imran has lost about 17% over the last 2 years and hovers around the 20 ' s with a greater negative than positive (which means political death Ala mitt romney).

Now you guys can take it as you want, I'm just reporting what I saw. I dont have a horse in the race because I honestly think they are all power hungry, the entire lot, but with stats like that, IK doesn't really stand a chance of winning a country wide election. In fact, from what I read on social media, some his supporters have been turned off by the recent events. Food for thought.

Re: Prime Minister Imran Khan

Demoracy is over rated, most people in the west are beginning to understand that, but people in third world countries are obsessed with “democracy”, they think it would solve all their problems etc but it’s a scam
10 Reasons Why Democracy Doesn

Actually no, in a democracy it isn’t “1 person,1 vote”, the electoral system is more complicated than that.

In Pakistan if want to be elected as PM then you gotta win Punjab, especially central Punjab, the rest of the country matters little; Imran Khan couldn’t get the vote of the various “biraderis” in central Punjab who tend to vote along tribal lines, it’s only urbane educated people that aren’t ethnocentric, and that’s why in Karachi, PTI won the biggest and most educated constituency -NA250, because there people don’t vote along ethnic/tribal lines, they voted with their head.

PTI managed to win big in South Punjab but only because they had the support of the Seraiki Makhdooms, they couldn’t win any seats in Sindh because they didn’t recieve the support of any tribal waderas, the waderas/peers direct the peasants/farmers and other people in their districts to vote for who they endorse, there’s no such thing as free-thinking in rural Pakistan.

This time PTI manage to win big in KP cause the Pashtuns were fed up with the nationalist parties and they saw Imran Khan as one of their kin; PTI didn’t win any seat in Baluchistan cause most people there voted for ethnic parties who don’t actually recognize Pakistan; Nawaz’s party manage to win some seats over there cause they recieved the support of Baloch Sardars, and unfortunately Imran Khan doesn’t have the connections to woo over the Sardars to his side, so he couldn’t get the Baloch vote, and then there’s Karachi where PTI definitely would have won at least half the seats there but then the MQM mafia did what they did best.

lol a minority has always decided the fate of the majority all over the world, elite corporations and other shady secret societies pull the strings and it’s usually a privileged minority that gets what they want, for Pakistan it’s Central Punjabis, and who they vote for is what matters, I wouldn’t include all Lahoris, cause most of them are chill people that think with their heads, at least half of them would reject the Shareef empire.

Messiah’s don’t need to be elected, they know who they are, and the people that recognize them are the ones that are blessed with ability to think with their head and understand the game.

Re: Prime Minister Imran Khan

I assure you that Imran will never qualify for a MNA again so he can only become a PM only by this assembly but this election was rigged according to him .

Re: Prime Minister Imran Khan

Mashallah. So this discussion is pointless as you don’t believe in Democracy.

Thank you for proving my point. The Messiah has spoken. Welcome to our next PM without winning a single vote.

Monk GS is not a good source. Most of the GS posters don’t live in Pakistan. Nor represent the majority of the population. They represent the 1%.*

Re: Prime Minister Imran Khan

I’ll take it that you agreed with everything else I wrote cause you didn’t refute it.

Yes, democracy sucks, it doesn’t work for third world countries like Pakistan, it only serves the interests of the elite, if you read the article I posted you know about the many flaws of democracy.

Re: Prime Minister Imran Khan

I have big family MA
Tons of friends and family friends. We were all PMLS supporters.
Now we are NOT!!

Same way if PTI get off the track, we will not support it.
It might take us all little time to catch up, but sure we wont support them.

I am not sure if all of us voted PTI in 2008 elections!!
So please know, we are pretty swift.

Re: Prime Minister Imran Khan

I find it pointless to discuss a subject with someone who attributes voting patterns to educational, societal and communal preferences as an absolute truth.

But your link lacks all empirical evidence, any form of substantive discussion and proves essentially that limited knowledge indeed is a dangerous weapon.

Re: Prime Minister Imran Khan

i just saw the ticker on Dunyaa News that says a new Gallup poll results are in today which clearly declares that Imran Khan would have been the Prime Minister of Pakistan had PMLN not rigged it's way into power.

Re: Prime Minister Imran Khan

If you think rationally then it is indeed the absolute truth, all of those factors play a decisive role in the electoral system; if the electorate is screwed, then so is the country and democracy is only as good as the electorate.

Re: Prime Minister Imran Khan

No you attributed the Na-250 win without any evidence, empirical or anecdotal to those factors. Then presented it absolute fact. Please provide the evidence to back it up.
