hey fasaadi yaar in my opinion Sana Safinaz outfits are amazing absolutely. her couture range is a bit but the amount of work she gives u is absolutely wonderful. My best friend got married 2 months back and we got alot of stuff made from diff designers. She wore a beautiful pinks and olive green traditional sharara filled with work from a new designer who does very selective work and it was amazing it was within a range of 150,000 u can take down her number from me if ure interested.
Her valima outfit was from sana safinaz it was comparitively modern it was in beautiful shades of purples and greys and green. the cut of her gharara and everything was very well up done though there was very less work as compared to the wedding outfit and it was for around 185000.
Plus i suggest if u are looking to get made other formal outfits i myself got a few made from someone and she did a wowoee job esp the price bit.
If u want copies of ss outfits i personally know a karigar who does excellent copies of her last collection.
Aisha Varsey is charging alot of money for nothing and so is nomi ansari and maria b. Where are you living? do u have plans to come down to pakistan?

I was going too see the magenta outfit at the rouge studio - My master plan was to visit Lahore - it's why I discussed the designers I should visit over there. The magenta outfit was at the top of my list snob snob and it looks too yummylicious in the pic!
The Memoona Manan stuff is beautiful, but I highly recommend you stay away from Memoona Manan/Rouge. My friend's sister got married over the summer. They were talking on the phone and emailing Faraz Manan about ordering several bridal party outfits and the groom's sherwani. They paid a $4,000 deposit. The day before the mendhi, he called and said the clothes aren't done and he would send to them for the valima. They begged for the groom's outfit and he sent a very cheap store-bought sherwani. The remaining clothes NEVER showed up nor did they get their money back! They were in communications with the Manan sister and she basically yelled at them stuff like "how dare you accuse my brother of this and that and you'll get your money back." He never responds to their messages and they were facebook friends and he has put them on limited profile.

I believe one guppan got her wedding dress from Maria B and got ALOT of the price knocked down, without sacrificing on quality/kaam.

It's pretty sad that big name designers stoop so low when they know they have clients who live outside of pakistan and they take advantage of the clients! Just read the hajra hayat thread and now this....makes me think when I get married I'm going to go to Pakistan and personally shop for my stuff!

That is SO SHADY! You know, I was getting bad vibes talking to Faraz on facebook; he was unresponsive, kind of indifferent. That's no way to gain a customer and only speaks to the kind of service you can expect to receive in the future.

How scary is not getting u’re wedding dress on time! That too if a reknowned designer doesn’t deliver on time! I blv u shud always tell them a date that’s one month prior to u’re wedding.. just to be safe and get the right “fit” incase anything is wrong.
