Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

oh great

He looks very nervous.

I thought Larry King was Live, looks like it not.

Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

Same thing is repeated, though our Indian friends can still see "no tangible proof has been provided to Pakistan" for the terrorist caught alive and told that he is Pakistani.

he appeared to stutter at times

also im getting tired of hearing this phrase over and over "non state actors", a fancy phrase, dunner where he learned from

He is not nervous bhai. Have you ever attended any Video Conference. This is quite normal body language in such conferences due to the voice delay.

I think this is the right way to do it. Although Pakistan has always been a slow starter and in this case too but they (high ranking officials) should talk to US media more often in shape of interviews etc. This is the only way you can fight lies (or pre-mature accusations least to say) of Indian Media and Govt. Indian Media and Govt is vigorously doing this but I can understand the slow response of Pakistan as Churchill (??) said

"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on"

He spoke well.

Tomorrow there is Brad Pitt on Larry King. He along with Angelina Jolie were staying at Mumbai's Taj Mahal when they were shooting for "Mighty Heart"

Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

I agree he spoke well, and nothing of wat he said made any headline and i believe thats a huge achievment cuz normally when our ppl speak there is always a negative headline.

but one thing he kept on repeating was "m looking forward to it" this was the answer to every single question lol

Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

Thank God they didn't air PM with larry.....

Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

Thankfully he can at least speak unlike that Gillani character.

..this reminded me his speech at CFR, it was truly a classic. American's should be thinking what kind a cartoons we are producing..

Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

It was not so bad like ^ some have commented above.

Its high time that we shun away from "Zardari Jokes" now and be little more serious in
our opnions and thoughts.
If you like "humour & Jokes" then head to jokes forum.

Under the present circumstances "Pakistan Affaires" is hardly a place for pun n jokes.

Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

Does Pakistan not have anyone which can give elocution lessons to Pakistani ministers and diplomats they all will benefit from it. I think he spoke okay but could have been better he took too much time to think.

Re: President Zardari on Larry King Live - Tonight 9 EST

"Asked what his government was doing about the Pakistani intelligence apparatus support for militant movements in the past, Zardari responded: "In the past, lots of mistakes have been made, I cannot deny that. But the present government does not support any such action and the -- I can assure the world from my side, from my Army’s side, from my parliament’s side and the people of Pakistan that we are not helping any such activity."

So he agrees ISI and pakistan was involved in previous attacks and misadventures..

Oh plzzzz! Have you seen Bush? Americans elected that brain dead clown not once, but twice. Zardai is acting more like pragmatic statesman than even Mushrraf was...

BTW, for guy who couldn't spell "god" he did surprisingly well. :D

Well said :k:
