Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

Juve will bounce back up easily.

Yesterday Chelsea were beaten by Spurs after 19 years. And ManU are clear at the top while Barca slipped off the top in La liga. Real Madrid also beaten :nook:

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

Van the Man scores 4 goals as Real beat Osasuna 4-1 :k:

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

and yet Van Basten doesnt end differences with him.

RVN is in great form for Real. Capello has built his strategies around him and he is delivering.

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

Check out this stunning goal by Ronaldinho, which he scored during Barcelona’s 4-0 win against Villareal last weekend.

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

^ This was a breath taking goal.

In premiership, ManU are sitting pretty at the top 8 point clear from chelsea who dropped points against Arsenal after a magnicifcant match. Chelsea hit the woodwork three times and were unlucky not to win but the goal from Micheal Essien was probably the best goal of the season. It will take some doing from Chelsea to match ManU this time around who are scoring goals for fun and looking REALLY good this time around.

In Seria A Barca have opened up a 3 point lead at the top. Real were beaten once again ., this time by Sevilla. Real are really a jakyll and hyde team. Capello's defensive mentality is somewhat keeping them under shackles and they often lack insipiration.

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

Chelsea keep scoring stunning goals way late in match to keep winning matches. ManU had 9 point lead at one time but now at half stage of the sseason the difference is two points and this time premiership title is not going to be decided so early like last two seasons. Chelsea beat everton 3-2 and just beat wigan with same score line deep in injury time.

Sevilla have just been announced winter champions ahead of Barca and Realin La liga. Real were humiliated at home 3-0 and I just cannot see them winning anything this year either. Barca Sevilla will compete it neck to neck.

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

I;m surprised at the purple patch that Drogba has struck. He's not only scoring goals, but scoring beautiful goals!

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

^ True that. He surely is the most inform striker in whole europe right now. His goals are getting extravagant by each match. 17 goals in half season, top scorer in premiership, top scorer in CL behind morientes. And if chelsea manage to win CL or PL or both, he is an early nomination for world and europe player of the year ;-)

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

after quite some matches played in the last two weeks Chelsea trail ManU by 6 points.

I wonder whether Mourinho will leave Chelsea if they fail to win anything this season?

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

Any arsenal fans in this place?

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

^ I like the way they play but they dont have it in them to win anything now. :-)

Nes, I dont think Chelsea will go empty handed this season. They will win something, whether its CL or PL remains to be seen.

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

yea after double double, treble double and an unbeaten season, and a champions league final appearance, I think if they dont do much this year, no one is going to be too upset

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

Real is playing poorly again. I think the end of Capello's reign is near

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

ya think? I have the same feeling but then he has survivd thus far which sometimes makes me wonder whats going on

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

hain hain which double are we taling about pir sahib?

Last Arsenal accomplishment was an FA cup win two seasons ago. And an unbeaten season before that. What have they won recently which I should be worried about.

However their young side beat Liverpool at Anfield 6-3 yesterday in carling cup tie  Anfield is like a fortress for Liverpool and thats really impressive even if Liverpool fielded a young side.

Nes, I think Real is in DEEP trouble. One of the former Juve players recently said that what Capello is trying to do is bring Italian game in spain which is mostly about flair and its kinda tough for real crowd as well. So I also think that another winless season and they should be looking for manager AGAIN!!

Maurinho to Real?!?!? Crazy thought :D. Not gonna happen though!

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

Mourinho would be an ideal coach for Real,

or they should apologize to Del Bosque and bring him back. He was a really good coach :k:

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

^ I think Raul should retire honourably and become Real coach :D

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

Jane Bhai Do Yaro!

Re: Premiership / Serie A / Primera Division and other leagues 2006/2007

This weekend was a big one in premiership where Chelsea lost to liverpool 2-0 and ManU lost to Arsenal 2-1. Arsenal ManU match was specially a stunning one because Arsenal had to come from behind to secure a win. Chelsea looked reallly out of sorts and lacking confidence. They have to really pick up themselves otherwise title is ManU's.
