Khedira was really stupid to get sent off like this. Ruined RM's perfect start. But Lavente has been a tough place for RM in recent seasons.

^At the same time, both Madrid and Barca have tons of injuries right now too. Not taking away from Valencia though, they had that match and were a little unlucky to draw.

Apart from the CL, where the big teams only see each other once in the knock out stages, I would love to see a superleague with a year long home/away league featuring the best from all leagues:
Real Madrid
Barcelona
Man Utd
Man City
Chelsea
Olympique Lyon
AC Milan
Inter Milan
Bayern
Porto
perhaps add
Valencia
Arsenal
Juventus
This would be one awesome league!

^ so is Torres at Chelsea. Both are too good to be just benched every now and then.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Mancity, Arsenal all won last weekend while ManU were held against stoke.
RM and Barca both won COMFORTABLY! Barca have scored 13 goals in last two home league games.

I think they are showing such dominance because they dont have any superstars but FINE players like Nani and Young and Hernandez who will be superstars if ManU win this year.
And your idea is really cool! but it will be hard to pull off. They might have to scrap the CL for a season or two to see how that happens

like boota said, he is excelling at barca. At Arsenal he was so subdued since last two seasons.

Was so surprised to see Ronaldo bag two assists. I think for a while now he's started to become less of a ball-hog (although there hasn't been a dramatic change).

Maurinho is making Ronaldo more of a team player.. Case in point, his assists are increasing.
Must admit that ManCity are serious contenders this season. They are grinding out victories against tough oppositions and rolling over the lesser ones. This weekend's Manchestar derby is already a huge match in the season. If only Torres can continue his new found form, its going to be a two horse race.. just like La liga is.

I don't know if Mourinho's doing, but he has been passing more. I think part of it has to with the fact that in the last few matches, he seemed too predictable when he was looking to attack. And a few of his passes have sort of been last-ditch measures.
I just hope Di Maria stays on the bench. Such an actor. and uses his hands a lot too.
Really excited about United vs ManCity. Hopefully both teams show up and we get a great match.
Real v Malaga will hopefully be good as well.
