Case in point, yesterday ManC had their first match against swansea and Mancini did not bring Aguero on until the first goal was scored. And Aguerro had a fantastic debut (scpred two and made one)
Oh maybe sheikhs hired Mancini cuz they saw poetic beauty in the line 'Mancini manager of Mancity?'

Barcelona won super coppa 5-4 on aggregate after winning 3-2 at camp nou.
Barcelna is way ahead of everyone but these last two matches have shown Real Madrid have closed the gap to osme extent. :k:

^to be honest I'm surprised Barca won yesterday's match. I think here again Real were the better team....This promises to be a very exciting season with the title decided during the two Classico's!

Barcelona are still a better team but that does NOT give them the license to fall down as if they have been murdered at every possible touch. That surely riles Maurinho and his team up. Its a dirty tactic they have and its a major blot on their extremely eye catching football.

Second week in EPL. Chelsea won their first match under AVB.
As feared Arsenal were rolled over by Liverpool and the voices against Arsenal's lack of enterprise in market are growing. Everyone seems to have an opinion about Arsenal these days.

^I think it's about time Wenger retires. His football philosophy is outdated and will not work in the current setting. You cannot buy youngsters and by the time they get mature sell them and rely on the next batch of youngsters to bring success. You should try to keep the youngsters for their whole career (e.g. Barcelona with Xavi, Iniesta, Messi).
I can foresee next year Van Persie leaving

It is very poor excuse i think, , marcelo try break players leg, mourinho gouge eye of barcelona coach, then mourinho step on fabregas head see video in nescio post!!!
only one team is playing dirty tactic and their name is real madrid, i don't blame barcelona for jumping out of way of tackles if they stand and take it they will have legs broken.

Thats is frikking low for Arsenal. I am sorry but even Arsene’s die hard supporters would agree that he has lost the plot and he is STILL refusing to buy any players…
ManCity has started really impressively too. They beat Tottenham 2-5 away from home! Awesome performance. Their front four Dzeko, Aguero, Nasri, Silva is awesome. If only they continue to play with this freedom.
Liverpool and Chelsea also won 3 - 1.
Real and Barca will play tonight.
Poor Arsenal!

Real Madrid won their first match 0-6 while Barca won their first match 5-0.
LOL the gap between top two and rest of the teams in La Liga is just too big. In England, any of the top 4-5 can beat each other.. and rest of the teams are likely to cause upset too.

Arsenal finally got some signings on last day of the transfer window. Arteta from Everton and Benayoun. Not exactly like for like replacements for Fabregas and Nasri, but good players nonetheless. They also got a good big much needed defender in Mertasacker. Why could Wenger not do it earlier? 
Liverpool got Bellamy back. Inter got Diego Forlan as replacement for Eto’o. Big transfer. Forlan is quality! :k:

ManU and ManCity both in great form. Loads of goals and attacking flair. Lets see for how long they can maintain it.
Arsenal won their first match of the season against Swansea thanks to a freak goal while Liverpool lost their first. Chelsea also won.
oh and first set back for Barca in spain. They dropped two points against Sociedad while Madrid won against Getafe.

Arsenal scored five goals at blackburn and still lost 4-3. Two of them were own goals 
Best match of the season just ifnished. ManU beating chelsea 3 - 1. Awesome end to end stuff. Torres had his best game for chelsea, scored a wonderful goal but missed one of the most open goals you can ever see. And it was not just him. Rooney missed a penalty. Chelsea also missed an open goal. Horrible misses, fantastic game!
Barca won 8-0 against ossasuna after drawing their last two games. Real still to play.
