So the seasons are going to start next week.
I am rooting for Real Madrid and Liverpool as usual. But it would be interesting to see how Chelsea fares under the youngest coach in premiership history aka AVB. He has a really good record coming in England but its a different ballgame altogether.

Aguero --> Man City, personally I feel he would have fitted better at Real Madrid or an Italian team
Sanchez --> Barcelona, transfer of the season.
De Gea --> Man Utd, the ideal successor for vd Sar
Pastore --> PSC, a step back for the talented midfielder who could have easily gone to a bigger team

Neymar is overrated Nes. He is not proven at this level.
Fabregas transfer will go through though. His heart is not with Arsenal since last couple of years.
Sneijder should be an ideal player for ManU
I agree that Aguerro would have fitted better with RM. They need that kind of player.
Pastore should have come to Chelsea. I dont know why he did not even though the offer was made.

sneijder is expensive considering 27 years old,main problem is his wages it would destabilize united structure

First weekend in EPL. Win for ManU only. Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all drew their games.
RM and Barca drew their first leg super coppa at barnabeau 2-2. Great match for a season kick off. RM looked awesome and Barca were out played but two goals they scored were as usual awesome.

I follow them all over England when they play their away games! Going to Old Trafford too! But personally the best away games are at Tottenham and City, esp City.
Very heated and tense atmosphere, last time there was phadda after phadda :D

Arsenal is in trouble this season. Both Fabregas and Nasri are leaving in a day or two. And Wenger has no replacements for these fantastic players.

He has to spend, he got abused before the match against Newcastle by away fans. Abusing him is wrong but he needs players.
Cahill/Jageilka, a CM, and another striker. We have got Joel Campbell (unknown) but we need three more players a MUST.

This is a tough time being an Arsenal fan. And unless he signs a couple of quality players, Arsenal is gonna go down the ladder.

Saby, I don't know about that because I don't see how scourers or hotspurs can leapfrog the gunners. chelski itself is hurting.
united and city would be formidable due to their war chests.
I noted gunners mediocre performance, but saw the same with liverpool and chelsea who managed a point each as well. and united wins courtesy of an own goal. their second half performance was not convincing.
Gunners are definitely worse off without nasri and fab, but they played long stretches last season without fab, and without nasri. the gap will be felt, and will be filled. good thing is that other teams have not gotten much stronger than last season with the exception of city.

I think Liverpool has invested very wisely this season and their performence yesterday in first half was amazing. They have real gems in Suarez, Meirelies and Adam of course with the likes of Gerrard and Kuyt. They are rebuilding but they made the right moves in the market. Arsenal did NOT make any move.
I expect Chelsea to be a real threat though if AVB can bring out the best from Torres.

Liverpool are overrated IMO. Players like Downing, Henderson (£20million?!), Caroll at £35 million is also a joke, are not even close to being world class or champion league standard. Just imagining them against the like of Barca, Madrid etc they would be swept away. And indeed that's what the second half performance showed.
I don't see them as a threat, I fear Arsenal going worse and losing top four than Liverpool being better and clinching top four.
It'll be probably between City and Utd for the title, Chelsea at third and Arsenal and Liverpool fighting for fourth

Good to see Fabregas going to Barca. The best team in the world got even better with Alexis Sanchez and Cesc signing. Let's hope they don't desintegrate like what has happened to Real and Inter when they signed too many stars.
I think Neymar still has a lot to prove, but he's got the talent. I don't think he will be the new Messi or Ronaldo, but still he can come close to the likes of Robben, Nani, Di Maria

I agree with your reasoning here; Gunners will manage a top4 spot simply because other teams also became weaker.

Man U
Man C
Chelsea
Arsenal

on a separate note, I'm looking forward to the Liga season; I think with Mourinho in charge this can be Real's season; they will at least win the league or CL

^ Maurinho’s second season with his teams has always been more productive. He has brought the best out of Benzema in recent months and I expect Zidane Maurinho combination to be really awesome this season. :k:
Liverpool used to be over rated but this season they will be a top four team. I expect Arsenal to go out of top four just like majority of people here. But what liverpool has is a much better pool of youngsters and I expect Suarez to shine in coming months. Fantastic player!
Btw I dont see City winning the title this season either. It will be either United or Chelsea.

Shak, no one has casted Arsenal aside before Man City got so rich. Now they are in serious danger of spiralling out of top four.
Mancini is alright. His CL record is too sucky. But when they signed Mancini, Rijkaard was with Galatassary. Hence they could not get him. I even rated Mark Hughes better than Macini. The guy is typical italian manager.
