Re: premature greying
Usually it's hereditary. Sometimes stress, poor diet could lead to premature greying as well.

Eating too much coconut can increase cholesterol if you have a genetic predisposition.. no?
But coconut is good for skin and hair.

my mommy faced it at like 17-18, very early on, then it happened to one of my bhaiis, so yea it is hereditary…their whole sars were pretty much affected

oh and this is the time to experiment with wild hair colors ![]()
Re: premature greying
I think it is hereditary, and I think it is to do with some cells or chemicals, and the colour changes due to the change in number of these cells or chemicals as you get older. Only thing that you can do is to dye your hair I guess, if it is such a worry.
Re: premature greying

Re: premature greying
hereditary lifey. did the hair just start greying or did they start falling out/getting thin in your mother's case?
ps: oh and by the way.. was reading some stuff in the internet about hair loss and stuff and found out that genes that you get from your mother side is like the key factor of how much/less you'll be going bald.. so if your naana ji had good head of hair.. you're lucky...you might have your hair for some long time.. ofcourse balding is just the problem of men and thought i'd just share that.

We got this hereditiary problem too.
lifeless I have the same problem. I've had gray hair since I was 18! I used to get so upset but what can we do? Now I just colour them natural black every couple of weeks. I hate those surprising questions like "oh my God, gray hair? But you are so young" as if it was a personal choice...
Re: premature greying
hehe - I saw my FIRST silver lining at age 27 - soon after my first born!
I was officially declared old! LOL
