Okay From what I have understood: ilm e jafr, not jafar is about predictions etc & to do with numerical signs etc & is wrongly linked to the 6th imam. The Alim I asked said it’s not true that the Imam would never speak about pre-destination etc as that isn’t for humans to understand .When a man asked Hazrat Ali (s) about how much fate influences our lives Hazrat Ali(S) said “do u want a short answer or long one”, the man said “short answer”. ** Hazrat Ali (S) told him to stand on leg andraise the other. Then asked him to stand by raising the foot he was standing on**. and The man said " I cannot, I will fall". Hazrat Ali said (S) same is with the destiny.

ive come across this reply of Ali RA but the question wasnt about destination or predestination, it was regarding how much power Allah SWT has given man. with this in mind you will find the answer now matches the question
