Sara, since i had had a m/c naturally too and it was super painful but my labor was a different kinda painful and quite a bit more intense.
Yeah i can imagine it's much more painful--still not sure why the doc said that... Maybe the emotional/psychological aspect of it impacts the level of pain?
i'm sorry for your loss, sara, and yours too, ira :/
Sahar, i didnt mean to scare you, honestly. If i can do it, anyone can!
Epidural all the way, baby.
And lots of prayers :D.
Ammi says I've been through the worst part of pregnancy and that the final push isn't nearly as bad as the first trimester. Now, she may just be trying to keep me calm (tho that's not usually her style), but it has helped.
^ just think of it as the way to finally meet your baby girl iA and focus on seeing her and holding her and listening to her first cries for the first time :)
that should keep you going if it gets tough!
BInt-e-Naeem, i honestly didnt read any duas for labor. What i did do was read astaghfar a lot and it just came naturally to my lips. I had heard that InshaAllah Allah will accept whatever dua you make during labor so that was my dua along with others i had in mind for my friends and family. I also walked a lot, didnt really stay in bed or anything, i think that helped because laying in bed only made them worse for me. And the whirlpool tub was HEAVENLY! Try that if they have it where you are going to deliver.
Yeah I have heard about that dua part too. During labor or when a person is traveling somewhere far from once's place.
Thanks for the whirlpool tip though. The hopsital I plan to deliver in does have 'em but then I might be changing my hospital.
