my aunty did had it for two of her kids but after she had her third one, she lost it completely and is so skinny. she doesnt really tell anyone but these are the things she does:
eats in little portions through out the day.........never eats full stomach.......does eat steamed vagetables through out the day.
walk after dinner
drink lots of water
no junk food
sit ups
she used to be 65kh before pregnancy and now is 47kg!
i have read somewhere that if u dont loose baby weight within 6 months, it becomes hard to loose
i havent had the issue with losing the pregnancy weight.. its just this extra bit of skin. It aint visible to anyone else.. but boy i wish it werent there
what ur aunty does is great... her eating habits should be something everyone should adopt.. i was on a similar diet after bubz
you should try that bar-crunch thing at the gym..i am not sure what its called..put your arms on the bars...(with all your weight) and bring your legs up...its really hard...but you ll get it after a few times...works wonders though!

........i agree with u,,thats the best diet...a little exercise wil help...
this is going to sound weird, but I really think its how it works .. Its not abt the weight gain but more abt the extra on the tummy ..
My bhabhz has had 3 kiddos in 3 yrs and she has not one bit of belly after each pregnancie.. Apparantly right after the pregnancie .. she makes a drink of water, ilachis, zeera, ajvain and something else .. its gross and it stinks .. but she drinks it through 40 days .. She says it cleans out everything .. and vopchi no belly fat .. anyone of u ever heard of such thing ? ..
Yep! The Arabs have it too.. but they use camel milk and "methi seeds" they boil it till it resembles kheer.. and have it! (oh yeah u can add sugar/honey)
The after-delivery tummy pouch is many times not fat at all but rather stretched out skin. Depending on the elasticity of your own skin, the skin may go back quickly or it may take up to a year to return to normal. I had my 3 one after the other and my skin is not very elastic to begin with so I have this pouch permanently :( Well, at least till I win the lottery and go for a tummy tuck lol!
sweetmoi cant u ask ur bhabi and let all of us kno wht she does? it sounds yucky but i bet it works wonders
I would love too, but she is treating it as a family secret and doesnt tell anyone what exactly and wht amount she puts of the stuff. Heck, she didnt even wanna tell her distance-cousins when they asked here!!
But I'm pretty sure of these ingrediences, Zeera, ajwain, ilachi and water! .. I dont think if she puts anything apart from it .. I dont think so though .. The water turns a brownish color and smells YIKES!.. but she drinks it all!
they say your not supposed to gulp down glasses full of water post delivery.. just little sips every so often for a few weeks.... and wear a special belt to keep things in place... my mom did these 2 things and had no tummy whatsoever.. same as the women in my family... 3-4 kids each and no belly.
But khawa i had heard that you should drink lots of water to flush out stuff?
That being said, i think some women just have the genes where they dont get extra skin like that. Also from what i hear, it also depends on what your fitness level was before having the kids. Like if you had a real tight tummy, then perhaps your body knows to get back to that.
I still think the biggest thing is how elastic your skin happens to be. I had a pretty tight tummy and it looked great after number one son. Looked a bit saggy after number two son 14 mos later and looked pathetic after number three son who followed right after that! And even if there is muscle, I mean I could have 6-pack abs, but you would not see them cause there is just so much loose skin around my tummy now.
anyway, drinking water is ALWAYS a healthy thing to do. So is exercise. If you're still left with a pouch, its probably just skin that was stretched beyond its ability. Play lotto, research tummy tucks and hope that you one day can have the "extra" removed...or learn to live with it like moi...(although I STILL hope to win lotto).
i knw dis 1 woman.. n afta aving 5 boiz n 1 girlz shes in reli gd shape
she told me dt in her 1st 40 daiz she wud eat aot of garam stuff.. lyk chaaas n stuf lyk dt.. nt sure xacli wt she ate.. bt she stil ate healthy as she was breastfeeding
Water is large quantities is always good..! Apply cocoa butter to u're tummy throughout to avoid stretchmarks! But yeah whatever i've seen arab women do i've posted =)
mine is just the extra skin... which i dont think is gonna go down with any amount of exercise... :( maybe?
in terms of drinknig water... i think thats just a myth.. i drank so much water after giving birth and i lost weight.. its another thing i gained a lot of it back due to eating like mad.. but initially i lost heaps...

Same with my bhabhz.. Indeed for the first 2-3 weeks the woman solely live by chicken soup .. She drinks abt a liter pr day at minimum!
as far as tummy tucks are concerned, i know someone who had one and it was gross and painful! she had tubes coming out of her belly draining pus and blood for two weeks. it was truly horrific- do as much exercise as you can possibly stand- but don’t go for a tummy tuck!
what about something like the bella band? i’ve heard it helps to “hold things in” after giving birth…http://www.ingridandisabel.com/
