A person who is a stickler for a set routine and way of things or someone who is laid back and flexible about his/her day to day living ?
Examples : On a Day Off
Person A - Wakes up at 8 sharp , breakfast at 8:30 , lunch 1 pm , 8-9 pm time for kids , 9:30pm dinner …in bed at 10 pm , Watch TV 10-11pm MUST fall asleep at 00:15hrs !!
Person B - Wakes up whenever ( its a day off ) , lounges in bed , get up makes breakfast , reads the paper , checks mails , had a late breakfast , lets skip lunch and go out to the mall , feels hungry , orders an early dinner ..catches up with a friend , makes plans , falls asleep when feels sleepy .
but for a man he is going to do what he is going to do!
and for a woman it's definately better if she is flexible...she has to accomodate so many other things day off or no day off.by the way housewives don't get days off...
When you say Person B is laid back, does it mean he/she also has the tendency to be laid back and flexible about other things in life like commitment, faithfulness, ambition, career? If yes, then that is trouble.
If its JUST about daily chores and schedules, then Person B is my choice.
Princess …No we are ONLY discussing the attitude of both Personalities in regards to day to day living /chores , NOT attitude towards Career , Commitment or Ambitions…for argument’s sake both are very career driven , ambitious and focused individuals , faithful but a lil afraid of commitment
**OK, given that assumption, definitely type B. Life has too many other problems to be worrying about waking up on the dot, eating breakfast, lunch, dinner at the right times and all that or worrying about offending your spouse if you can’t keep up with this military schedule.

Nothing wrong in wanting to have brunch one day instead of breakfast and lunch especially when it's a day off.
Nothing wrong in staying up late one day and sleeping in the next day.
Nothing wrong in wanting to be spontaneous! It makes life more fun and adds an element of surprise, however minor it may be.
If someone is so particular about things as person type A is, then that person has a much higher probability of having conflicts or mood upsets on a daily basis. And obviously, that is not good for anyone involved.

i agree with this i would prefer person B there's no harm in changing up your routine on days off you only live once why make every single day the same in my opinion that could get really boring after a while.........and person B sounds like me sleeping in on days off is what i look forward to :)
I was Person B when I was single even to the time till we had no kids but now I am person A. No matter what time I go to bed on Friday night, be it 2am or 3am, I am normally up at 8am and now I dont have to wonder why my father used to be up early even on weekends :)
PS: oh yeah after 5-6 weekend with above mentioned routine, a weekend comes when I sleep upto 1pm/2pm and catch up on my sleep.
I am totally person B, the only regular thing in my life is my job. I eat at different times everyday, sleep at different times, I don't follow any routine.
