PPPP Lotas form new party , PPPPP.....

The P’s seem to be getting longer all the time. Wonder where this will stop.

The forward bloc lotas from peoples party parliamentarians have now fromed a new party. Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Patriots. PPPPP for short.

I can’t wait for a 7 letter peoples party.

:rotfl: Patriots :rotfl:

Soon they will forget themselves how manny "P"s to use, and which theybelong to:hehe:

..yep these lotas are scums.. not forgetting the whole PML (Q) that defected Nawaz Sharif for loot in new Govt..

pathetic if these lotas had any Shame theyd resign and contest on this new party ticket..I'd love to see if they could win!
I read somewhere, that some people threw lotas at the door of Rao Sikanders home.

Yeah, but then they wouldn't be ministers today, now would they?

What's loyalty, honor and principles in fornt of cabinet perks anyway?

These (and shame) aren't exactly the typical charectristics of pakistani politicians.

Their initials remind me of Vespa scooter. The horn, u know.... :)

:hehe: Good one, Man

may be they're looking for the mens' room and ended up with a new party aptly named

One Man/Woman Show

These parties were actually bases on sheer ‘chamchagiri’. BTW , why all the PPP stalwarts have abandoned the party? As for Nawazoo read about him in the international media given below:-

http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=17576

“The exposé claims former premier Nawaz Sharif masterminded an attempt to kill the editor of a political weekly in Lahore after his paper carried reports about the ex-premier’s love affair with Dilshaad Begum, sister of Indian film actors Sanjay Khan and Feroz Khan. It accuses the former premier of having secret relationships with not only several women, but also with a man.”

"The book cites a former British health minister, Collin Mopnyhan, who was former premier Benazir Bhutto’s classmate at Oxford University, as saying she was an expert in oral sex. According to the author, when the Daily Express in London published the information, her government banned the import of the newspaper into Pakistan. "

Interestingly the new PPPPP has announced that Benazir will be their leader. They have also demanded her immediate return to the country and removal of all cases against her.

So it seems that my initial instinct that this forward bloc has benazir's blessing and she may be playing double game was probably right.

u have abrilliant carrer at Jamai-e-Islamis flyer division if ur not already employed there!

I never expected such a thing from Faisal Saleh Hayat. Zakk is right, they could never have won without the PPP ticket. They sold their souls and votes for wealth and promises. I hope they dont get nothing from the new crooks that got elected by musharraf.

Not to parade total cultural ignorance, but, in an effort to learn...

I'm assuming that the use of the term "lota" as a descriptive adjective is derogatory. Is this equating the party to a common, inanimate object the same as calling them "dumb as a box of rocks" or "thick as a brick", or something similar?

Just curious!

Peace To All Who Read This...

Scumbags All

By showing "ALL The Pees' and Nawazoos for what they are, it doesn't automatically mean that I favor the Jamaatees. When Qazi's Mujahideen were fighting in Kargil, Qazi was himself in the US. Then after inciting the youth to fight a Jihad in Afghanistan, he abandoned them to their fate. One pertinent question to ask the MMA is how many Jihadis did they bring back when they were being killed or captured. The so-called parliamentarians are all scumbags talking of 'Constitution' , 'Awaaam' and 'Jamhooriat'. They don't mean a thing they say!

:hehe:

Without supporting the action taken by ppppp members where do you guys think we should draw a line b/w LOTAISM and voting for SOUL. We have seen worst cases of both the types.

We have seen lotaism 100s of times when members were sold and bought like horses

on the other hand

We have seen the dictatorship of the leader of the party when he/she threats to members to vote on party lines (basically leader's lines) or they will send a reference of disqualification.

How can we balance b/w the two ?

That's a good question Ms. Wali :)

As for the balance between these two extremes the law drafted by Musharraf government in this reagrd in the LFO draws a nice balance between the two.

But it's another thing that General Musharraf ignored that law drafted by himself just to get his puppets elected , the hypocrite that he is!

What was the law in LFO about LOTAISM?

The law so fas as I know was that MNA/MPA's of any party were not allowed to vote against their party's decision in key votes like Speaker/PM election or in any show of confidence vote. In addition they were not allowed to vote against their party's decision on a Budget.

That last part was there because if budget presented by a government fails to pass in parliament , the government automatically falls. So that could have been an oppurtunity for lota-ism but it was wisely blocked.

But other than these occasions MNA/MPA's were free to vote according to conscience on any bills and laws being considered by the parliament.

This was better than the law drafted by Nawaz Sharif (and passed by parliament aswell due to his 2/3 majority). Because that law took away all rights of voting by conscience from MNA/MPA's. They were supposed to always vote according to party decision. And since that was passed , it was part of constitution upuntill it was suspended by Musharraf.

Now Musharraf's amendment to that was as I described above , i.e. allowed vote by conscience on all matters accept the key govt making or braking issues.

So that was a good law, as it had a balance in the rigth to vote according to conscience and still preventing lota-ism to form or bring down governments.

But I think we were fools to think that Musharraf would respect anything if it stood in the way of his whims and wishes!! Neither the real constitution , nor his own amendments to it!

The Musharaf government has now violated it's own constitution even before the ink on it was dry! So much for blaming the politicians that they don't respect the constitution. Truly Shameful!
