Dear Farid,

Ethnic, religious minorities for example Mohajirs who are an ethnic minority in Pakistan, nothing to do with religion, that was understood.

If there is no ethnicity in Islam then I would suggest very humbly that you immediately recommend and propagate finishing of ALL ethnic identities in Pakistan ie Punjabi, Balochi, Pukhtoon, Sindhi, Hazarvi, Mohajir, Memon etc etc should all be henceforth abolished as per your logic. There will be no domociles, quotas, provinical assemblies, local languages, customs etc etc.

Again I am not arguing that. When people call themselves as Muslims, then these enthicites have second periority. You have to look for common good for all Muslims not just for one community.

I agree with Farid here... Also I am glad PPP for one did not emerge as an ethnic party representing Sindhis only, and was welcomed in Punjab and NWFP in the past because it was deemed acceptable by the people there, unlike the MQM which has just a single ethnic support base group.
