I'd side with the peepliyaz just because I hate Altaf Bhaiya so much!

farid, nothing personal but from your posts you do indicate that you hate us p00njabiz for some reason, despite the fact that our p00njab is the only province that voted (on many occasions) for your party PPP which afterall is a Sindh based party... That proves that the p00njabiz viewed the party's manifesto and believed in it without abiding by any provincial polarization.

Calling anyone by the name Baba Farid is a mark of respect as it refers to the great Sufi (Poonjabi) poet/philosopher/saint Dada Farid Baksh, now if u feel repelled by that association then I withdraw my symbolization.

I will not comment on your "typo" mistake cause I have no desire to be associated with your ... instincts.

As for your comments regarding Mohajirs supporting Mqm, well here again u r stereotyping, making generalizations that ignore political realities.

PPP Govt is responsible for hundreds of extra-judicial murders committed in Karachi and Hyderabad, Chairman Bhutto was hanged on the charges of murder, these are all perceptions and some realities. What u harbour against Mohajir is racial prejuidice, same feeling that West Pakistanis demonstrated against the Bengali people and today's Punjabi elite against Balochi nationalists. That has nothing to do with perception, its plain bigotry.

Not at all, I agree with you and respect your viewpoint. Then again, it is very common on this forum to say and get away with insulting remarks about ethnic, religious minorities such as Mohajirs. Society dictates norms and practices and since society is determined by numbers it always reflects the view of the majority ignoring minorities.

Having said that, some of my best friends are Poonjabis and this is an expression of affection, Iam not sure whether it has any negative connotation if by chance it does then please do let me know. Thanks for your civil response.

If you are refering to MQM then it is ethinic, nothing to do with religion because ethinic and relegion are 180 degree apart. There is no concept of ethnicity in Islam as all muslims are like brothers.
