Sa1eem, this govt is not going to survive for long, specially now that Musharraf has left. Whenever new elections take place, there is very little chances that Zardari's PPP will ever win like this. Nawaz has very good chances of being the next ruling party in the next elections. Specially due to his stance on the chief Justice issue, nawaz shariff is gaining alot of popularity, and if he plays his cards well, he can use this popularity to win the next elections, that are not that far away. But he will need to make some vital coalition to do that.
And lastly, it seems like Zardari being corrupt is not a big issue for you, but for a country like Pakistan where economy is in such bad shape, it is very important. I supported Musharraf while he was president in most of the issues. But now with him gone, nawaz might be much better option than the corrupt Zardari.
Why you think that this government is not going to last for 5 years? Who is going to dissolve the government? I do not think that PML-Q would like to get this government dissolved.
As for Nawaz gaining lot of popularity than where? In Northern Punjab? :)
How can you say that Zardari corruption is not a big issue for me? Obviously it is, though Nawaz is bigger corrupt than Zardari and between them, Nawaz is more harmful to the country than Zardari. Both have different method of doing corruption and what Nawaz does is more harmful to the country, as Nawaz do corruption at ground level. As for Zardari, he would work to improve the country as long as he gets his commission.
On the other hand, I also know that it is not for me to decide who should be President but obvious is that, Zardari would become President if he wishes.
