KARACHI: Top decision makers of Sindh and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership are due to meet in Dubai on Saturday (today) to decide upon the extension of Rangers’ special policing powers in Karachi.
The recent controversy over the arrest of Asad Kharal – a purported friend of the home minister – who has been accused of misappropriation of government funds and having links with criminals and the infamous Panama Leaks Scandal would also come under discussion during the two-day meet in Dubai.
PPP’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari flew to Dubai for the meeting from Karachi while his father and party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has already reached the UAE city from London.
Important PPP players including Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali would attend the meeting chaired by Zardari.
The former president has also called upon Farooq H. Naek and former governor Punjab Lateef Khosa to discuss legal aspects of the issues on the agenda of the crucial meeting.
A part of the meeting would also cover political challenges in Sindh, provincial cabinet’s performance and the reasons behind PPP’s failures in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly elections.
They would also join their heads to come up with a future strategy against the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) over Panama terms of reference (TORs).

Where else Ishaq Dar goes for the talk??? PpP is Dubai based party...where the party leader is hiding in exile and is scared to be back in Pakistan...and thats because he know he have screwed everything here...

If Sindh has been converted into such a beautiful safe heaven under PPP rule, then why not hold meetings in Dadu instead of Dubai?
Fact is that all the loot maar is controlled by offshore daddy of our only hope who has pissed off far too many businesspeople in Pakistan and fears coming back.

But you ignore how much the issue of NS getting treatment in UK was highlighted, talked about and made fun of everywhere.

Don’t say that sitting outside. Do visit the City someday. And don’t forget to bring handkerchief to cover your nose.
Qaim Ali gave only THREE days to clean the stinking garbage from the city. He says that he has given millions of rupees to DMCs but the City is still stinking with garbage.
“The Sindh government keeps providing additional funds to KMC and DMCs for the salaries of their employees and cleanliness of their areas but they are not performing their duties,” he said.
The chief minister said that he has personally visited different areas of city and found heaps of garbage everywhere.
“I am giving you three days and asking everyone (concerned) to start work, clean the city, lift the garbage and report me, otherwise not only I would relieve the concerned officer(s) but would take action against them,” he said.
I don’t know who he is complaining. The administrators running the city (instead of mayor) are hand-picked by PPP. If they are following PPP tradition (pesa hazam) then Qaim should sack them rather than complaining about his own incompetency.
There is NO comparison of Sindh with Punjab when it comes to cleanliness. Sindh presently can not even be compared with KP on this matter. There are piles and piles of stinking garbage everywhere.
All due to incompetent criminals running the province.
