Have you ever seen Cheetah playing with their live prey, a captured Fawn under complete control of Cheetah? Well, constitution, opposition, parliament and all these to military dictator is same as captured and helpless Fawn to Cheetah. They play with these things until it becomes boring or out of hand. This goes on until the time Cheetah loses agility and control over body… err … Sorry, I mean military dictator loses his control, support and loyalty of army . It is unfortunate but that is life.
the analogy could be made with a much less flattering animal, say a hyena, or a wild dog. stripped of its machismo, your analogy is exactly whats rules in Pakistan, the law of the jungle. all you and i can agree on is that Pakistan's institutions have been subjected to animalistic dominance merely on the basis of the ability to overpower.
what is different though is our reaction to it. Both can only sit back and watch, you for some reason cheer it on, I watch with sadness.
