PPP aaaway he aaaway - Mush and PPP Alliance? (merged)

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

yeah its pretty sad to see BB making a deal with the Army...but then whats new abt that. She cut a similar deal in 88 too. Ironically though, if fair elections r held, PPP more than any other party is likely to get the office. PPP's thinking is cloudy at the moment.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

I was thinking..CJ's leading counsel is Aitezaz Ahsan but with this deal, it might not be in the interest of PPP to have such an unpredictable CJ in the office....is it possible now that Aitezaz not give his 110% to this case?

Whats a pakistani without a conspiracy theory up his sleeve? :D

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Only Sheikh Rashid has knowledge about this deal. :naraz:

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Sheeda is such a pain in the a$$ for the PPP..maybe there is no such deal and sheeda is just trumping it up to cause fissures between BB and NS. Go sheeday!!! :omg:

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

hmm Sheeda is more used to listen this sort of broadcasts:
"Mere azeez humwatno......."

Re: Mush and PPP Alliance?

^Soon somebody else will be looking for the ores and pick them up from the curb, unfortunately they are never out of business.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Are you talking about?

Na teer chahiye, na talwar chahiye,
Faqat Benazeer ki .............................

:D

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Also I remember something from my childhood;
Mazdoor kay mathay pay mehnat ka passena hai,
Bhutto baichara kiya karay zia ul haq Kami-- hai.

That was funny.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

looks like we do agree on something after all. :D

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

If not quite a deal yet, the PPP-P has been upgraded to "Team B" :D, and that has been a ground reality for quite a while now.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Well, all this deal news only makes me laugh :). Deal, what deal?

Was it not a deal going on in 2002, when Amin Fahim started getting official waiting to be Prime Minister Protocol in Pakistan? Then everything disappeared as if it was never there.

What I know, at that time President Musharraf was sincere in making Amin Fahim Prime Minister. Actually, reasonable performance of PPP in election of 2002 and under expected performance of PML (Q) was due to same reason that Musharraf probably thought that it would be easier to work with politicians from PPP then ML. Else, we all know that if GHQ really wanted, no one would have stopped PML (Q) winning the election overwhelmingly.

Unfortunately, Bai Nazeer selfishness and self interest demand came in between. She wanted the government to drop all corruption and other cases against her, pull back from Swiss case of corruption against her, let her become Prime Minister instead of Amin Fahim, and let her keep all her ill gotten wealth. Maybe she thought that President’s willingness to give power to PPP under Amin Fahim was weakness rather choice.

Unfortunate thing was that Amin Fahim also had no guts to make his own decision and work for Pakistan. He should have realised that party leaders come and go, whereas party should work for the country and principle, not to ashore corrupt leader like BB and AAZ. Rather, he behaved like a Zombie in control of BB.

Probably this time Party (and party corrupt leader) has come to senses, but my feeling is that, all what we are hearing is going to fade away as before. Even though I believe that it would be easier for Musharraf to rule the country with PPP in front, all deals would eventually going to get stuck on same BB self interest demands. She do not want to return to Pakistan and face the legal music of corruption cases in court, neither would like to see anyone else as prime minister representing PPP.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Nope it was something to do with "TaaNg" and ended with "Benazir Benazir :D"

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

^ :D

and that reminded me of one very he bad "intekhabee nara" in Karachi in involving BB and Altaf Bhai :)

Tum kahoo pora, hum khaeen thora
Benezir............................................

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

u guys have heard nothing compared to the slogans I heard yesterday…I was amazed how much the opposition respects the president…every slogan..ever chant ended with musharraf kutta or peja kutta or something to that effect

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Woh Moat Ka Haqdar Hay

FARID

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

I am no die hard musharraf fan, what he botches up he botches up, what does not deliver, he does not deliver. My stance has been that as a whole he has been better than the previous folks, although they set a low bar.

It shows hypocrisy on his side of making deals with the people he should be trying for corruption, and i shos hypocrisy on the side of benazir because as recently as a few weeks ago she was bashing Musharraf on Fox news, all the while trying to make deals for her own power in the background.

So this is how things are, so while ppl can cry about oh musharaf just wants to hold on to power, who are the cheering, someone who has tazaad in her qaul and fael. someone who is going against everything she has said, just to get some power. This was very obvious during the CJ situation and the time it took for public reaction from PPP.

but this should be no news to anyone, our MMA folks who talk about shariah this and shariah that, who claimed that a woman can not be the leader then became palsy walsy with her.

so...you want people who are going to put the nation above their own political ambitions and power??? good luck.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

It was not a slogan, it was a policy.
