PPP aaaway he aaaway - Mush and PPP Alliance? (merged)

Govt. has disbanded the special NAB cell responsible for producing evidence against BB and Asif Sardari, and posted the guy heading the cell as secretary to Punjab governor. This was a long time demand by BB. Amin Fahim says its a positive development. Sheikh Rasheed says the deal will probably be announced any day now.

I am so confused…should i keep praising my new found religious lords or go back to the left…Why could the govt. not announce this a day earlier :naraz:

B/w: Is PPP left or center? But it’s hardly done much to justify that claim..I mean Bhutto incorporated all the islamic things in our society and then BB never repealed the Hudood laws for whatever reasons.

I am thinking PPP is left, PML center and MMA right

Anyway, at the moment it is becoming more evident, barring exogenous shocks, our next PM is going to be from PPP. Where does that leave our current PM and all the toadies?

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Correction - the party’s legal name is PPP-P. The last “P” no longer stands for Parliamentarians but Pervez.

Long live the People’s President Pervez! :stuck_out_tongue: :jhanda:

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

good catch

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Reminds me of the 1970 election when ZAB was fighting the Lahore seat against none other than Javaid iqbal. After hsi defeat at the hands of ZAB someone asked Javaid what was the reason for your loss, he said that even his young son would come from playing outside and shout "Bhutto aaway hee aaway"

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

A similar anecdote:

Ayub decided to hang his boots the day his grandson came home chanting something along the lines of “Go ayub go”. Ayub asked him if he knew what he was saying and who taught him this. His grandson answered everyone at the school was chanting this slogan so he was just doing what everyone else was. Ayub is said to have made up his mind to resign afterwards.

I gotta say though…Musharraf and PPP does not seem like such a bad idea…after all Musharraf has been handicapped in his goals of a liberal Pakistan by the morons at the Q league. Mush just needs to back off from the judiciary. Thats a :nono:

Mush and PPP Alliance?

I dont know but the idea seems pretty nice! I mean PPP is a much better political party than those idiotic leaguers, and Benazir (if not sidetracked by that mischevious zardari) and kept under a presidential check could do pretty good, based on her abilities (strictly)... The only thing about the present Government I hate are the Chaudhries (badmaashes of downtown gujrat) in power. But then again, this is unlikely, even if there is an alliance, its going to be a similar alliance like Musharraf has working with those MQM thugz/goons.

Re: Mush and PPP Alliance?

Yes it will be good alliance, only ardari this time will have to cut his share of 10% in everything in Pakistan.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

^Regarding Ayub, i heard the version that it was Ayub Kutta Haee Haee

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Yes that was the most common chanting in those days.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Yes it does seem on the cards that PPP will cut a deal with Musharraf. President has found out that despite he himself trying to run the compaign of Q league, they have little support.

It will be hilarious to hear Benazir's , "Azaan Baj raha hai"

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

there was some slogan about the Intikhaabi Nishaan of PPP in late 80's as well... the teer..... I better not say it here :p

however Jamat-e-Islami's Cycle was somewhat funny too:

Cycle pe jo sawaar hai
uss kaY moo pe phiTkaar hai :D

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

Cycle wasn't jamaat's symbol...it was IJI's symbol...

Besides the teer slogan, probably the best ever in the history of sloganeering..the second best was...

Oonglee pay anghotee
Anghotee mein nagina
Benazir Kut**
Altaf Husein Kami**

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

wasn't IJI (Islami Jamhoori Ittehad) the one with 9 stars symbol... I think Cycle was of Jamaat later on... or may be Qazi saahab had that symbol under the banner of IJI so i forgot :D

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

there was another one in a long ago era. munnawar hassan had a slogan

galee galee, chaman chaman
munawar hassan munawaar hassan

his rivals changed it to

galee galee chaman chaman
haddee choosay munawaar hassan

anyways what happened to islami jamhori itehaad?

Re: Mush and PPP Alliance?

Natural bedfellows...Islam-hating secular degenerates...a marriage made in Washington...

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

yaar actually the best was that ATA ul HAQ Qasmi's character:

Sheedaa Talli
aawaY hee aawaY :D

Re: Mush and PPP Alliance?

so where was the marriage made between Musharraf and MMA guardians of the faith? makkah munawarra? or raiwand?

it was a mutta maybe, mullahs got thrown to the curb as soon as they were used..

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

  • Supreme court and Chief Justice of pakistan must take notice and run a public trial against those who initiated that “SPECIAL nab CELL”. The money spent on such activities was used to fool people and is in fact a corruption as cell has not produced any results in so many years and consumed (a lot of) valuable national resources.

  • There is in fact no deal, and Sheikh Rasheed just expressed his sorrow on the day.

  • If you are standing left to Sheikh Rasheed, you are Left, if you are on his right then you are right and if you are with him, you are in the center, that is Islamabad.

  • Ask Sheikh Rasheed about next prime minister, he is in Railway so these days Rails travel faster than the laser in fibre optics.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

What's even more funny is that the NAB office has been transferred to the DG of protocol for Punjab. I guess they need to get ready when BB comes.

Here comes the "real democracy" courtesy of army and rigged elections.

Re: PPP aaaway he aaaway

interesting to see self declared guradians of democracy selling out to the military machine. and to see people who promised accountability and all collaborating with the people that they were investigating.
