The worst crime of those generals has been that they promoted petty thugs as politicians, Bureaucrats and judges and did not prosecute them under corruption charges. They used instruments like NROs and 'deals' to protect corruption which is the fundamental 'evil' they cite for taking over power in the first place!
They are accomplice in politicians' crimes. If you promote corruption yourself, how can you expect the 'civilian' government to be naik-parveen!
