Powers of Army Chief & Blue Book

11 years is certainly not at all long enough time to mature. Specially when you continuously influence the democratic process through coalitions like IJI.

You said the projects are there to support Army budget. I only asked give me an example of a country where military is running industries, financial institutions and housing projects. They have a budget and they concentrate on their jobs. If politicians are all corrupt, why could e.g. Mushi not prosecute any ONE of them under corruption charges? That’s the legal way of dealing with corruption, not issuing an NRO.

KO :: The sad state of Karachi beaches I know this is not an authentic source but any karachi resident will not deny this.

This thread was not about these things anyways. Its just that military has powers to override the constitution in extreme emergency situations like invasion from an enemy. Emergency situations do not include ‘I feel like running the country’ or ‘lets play amendment amendment’. What gives a general right to play with the constitution is that he has a gun and no brain.

I think I am a patriotic Pakistani. I love my country and I am sure everyone does. Its just that I am sick and tired of this ‘holy cow’ c***. Military is just an institution of state and it should remain so.

Over and out.
