any suggestions plzzzzzzz

Re: potty

Oh yeah toilet training is so hard. I have seen my mom training by baby brother and she would give him a candy or chocolate everytime he would do it on the toilet and not in his pants.
Reward him everytime he does it in the bathroom.

Re: potty

Reward works very nicely. But if you have lots of trouble with potty training then the little one isnt quite ready. It is actually pretty easy to accomplish when they're ready. So step back a bit and dont stress over it, dont turn it into a huge battle because that only results in stress for you and for your little one.

2hrs on the potty? lucky u...mine wont sit anywhere patiently for more than 10min
i m putting mine on the toilet from last couple of months...most of the times he will sit and wont go at all .. he wants me to pour water on him continuously.. couple of times he did pee and screamed 'look mama this is my water' :D
..so yeah i m looking for the suggestions too.. :p

Re: potty

OK, here is a trick to try.

See kids get used to putting pressure on their feet when the potty is coming out (excuse the graphic language but we're all mommies here), so when transitioning from diaper to toilet, put a footstool beneath his dangling feet. Then teach him to put the pressure on the stool. Slowly he will understand and he'll be a star!

Re: potty

i tried it everything in another french forum they said to open the tap and when the child see the water he want to pee but it doesnt work .
i really want that he goes to the toile because he has to go to school on march

i first tried potty training my daughter when she was 2.5 yrs old..it didn't go well at all...she refused to sit on the toilet for long enough and would hold it in for hooours. It was such a nightmare for 2 days. So I gave up and waited and tried again shortly before she turned 3 and it was very easy that time around. I think that every kid is different and they cant all be trained at a magic age because it will make it more difficult if they arent ready and you might have to deal with more accidents later on. good luck!!!

Re: potty

youpeeeeeeeeee he did it for the first time he was scared to see it but since 3 days he know when he want to do but sometime we have little accidents to
