^ the reason i think this bride looked exceptionaly lovely was because everyhting coordinated, and she was put togethor. A lot of the times i see brides who look for the perfect dress, shoes, or hair/makeup but forget the whole look.

i think she, or whomever dressed her, also has really good, decent, classic taste :) and i think its why we all love her clothes and jewellery- like you said, ramsha, she paid attention to the little details didn't overdo anything and was a very tasteful bride. plus, it doesnt hurt that shes lovely!

Thanks somegroovychick for posting the link to her wedding pictures. She really is lovely. I always worry that I will be one of those girls who doesn’t look pretty on her wedding day.

A strange phenomenon I noticed: sometimes girls who are pretty everyday don’t make pretty brides and vice versa. So if you think you don’t make a pretty bride, then that means that you must be pretty every day! SO it’s a win-win situation

hehehe. Actually every bride in pakistan that gets her makeup done at a reasonable parlour looks drop dead gorgeous. I have seen pictures of such ordinary looking girls looking gorgeous in their wedding photos, u can barely recognise them on their mehndis and I have also seen gorgeous girls looking awful on their wedding days here in the USA just cos the makeup isn't as good.

i'm of two minds about that... i mean my cousin was an example of this- she usually never wore makeup, and i did her chotti dinner makeup even cos she didn't know HOW to do makeup... anyway, the point is, she was unrecognisable on her wedding day. she looked absofrickinlutely GORGEOUS. i have to find her pics and put them on here. but then, she didnt look like herself. i have an issue with that. i mean, shouldn't you look the most like yourself, and the least like a dress-up doll on your wedding day? its such an important day and its nice to look good but not to the extent that people won't know you! especially when you can never replicate that look, nor do you want to replicate that look. it seemed like she wasn't being true to herself.
i remember she wore red, like, true red gharara with hits of burnt orange on her wedding day, and the makeup artist did a very classic face with black eyeliner and this stunning red lipstick. and on her valima, she wore all white and the makeup artist played up her eyes with shimmery white and pearl and silver eyeshadow. wowwww.... i honestly didn't think she could look like that.
dammit, now i want to go home and search for her pics.

well lets say, that it is my self which is looking so good, so i don’t have any problem with this , because after the makeup and stuff “my self” is just more groomed. Gag!!!i don’t think i am explaining this really good, but my point was that i am ok as long as i am not look bad dolled up,
