i think her makeup looks like its slapped on with a trowel. ugh. i really don’t like false lashes like hers, its just too drag-queeny :stuck_out_tongue:

but her outfit is interesting… her necklace is really unique- never seen jewellery like that.

i've noticed one thing - out of all d pics i seen so far on this thread - i havent come across even one signle person who has actually done a hairstyle - why do ppl tend to go for a pushed-back plain sleek joora or just a parting or that twisted/braid thing - these beautician's are not puttin much effort in their client's hairdo...

i think cos when you have the dupatta on a) you can't see the hair and b) if its too fussy, it'll make the whole thing look too fussy too- imagine with all the jewellery you've got on, plus all the kaam on the dupatta/shirt, plus on top of that you go for a very complicated hairdo- it would be too hectic i think.
or they have no imagination :P

for me, im going to try and do a hair do but first gotta figure out what would look good. maybe a half up/half down do- need a trial!

the nath, tikka and long har ( typically sindhi jewellary) + they wear lots of jewellary also to show off their money :P

I think as long as it’s neat and is able to keep the duputta up, then it shudnt matter how hte hairstyle is… in fact, simpler is better, because you’re already wearing a duputta, jewelery, makeup, dress, everything… Again, as long as the hair is neat. On boht my wedding and valima, she used puffs and extensions on my hair ! :phati:

yea i agree with^ because asian brides have all the embroidary on the clothes and the jewellry and da makeup lol den dey dnt need elaborate hair dos. i think they look better on the registration with a simple dress/outfit

I've seen brides with their hair down in elaborate curls or straight and loose. I think it looks bad with all the heavy clothes and jewellery.

Hair open/out looks better if the dress and jewelery are subdued...my cousin had her bigass hairdo and it just looked retarded with the jewelery and dress

I didnt wear a duputta for my wedding reception so she did quite a fancy hairdo on me. Im defo posting my pics soon....just gotta scan them!

my cusin had her hair all pinned up bt then she had da dupatta pinned on to it so there wasnt any point really even though the dupatta was pinned bit more back than usual.
