I haven’t imported my husband yet, but Inshallah, make dua everything works out!

My fiance mashallah runs his own business in Pakistan and I never in my life thought I would ever marry someone from back home but alhumdulilah we have developed a good understanding.

In the intial stages, I doubted him a lot and during one of our conversations, I blatantly said the following to him:

You might not know but I have handed my visa back to the embassy and my dad does not know about this, so I am no longer a British citizen and will have to spend my life in Pakistan.

I expected him to run and hide but no, he said the following…I don’t care about the visa, if I wanted to get to UK, i could do so easily..I have enough money to, my siblings are there…I don’t need a spouse for a a visa. He said, I need you…I want us to have a happy life together wherever that is.

Basically all I’m going to say is that at the moment, this sounds like a succesful story however until we are married and living here..i can’t say for sure – I will report back in a few years time.

Everybody is different and like someone said above, its about compromising and seeing each other through the thick and thin. Hopefully everything works out for you.
