Aitezaz sold his integrity, his respect, his professionalism and his very soul in the hope that he would be chosen as the next PM when Gillani is eventually removed. Some hopes were created when he shrewdly outsmarted Babar Awan and moved him from being Zardari’s darling to no-one. However, Aitezaz now must be feeling quite low given since he must have realized that the “green pastures” promised to him by Zardari remain just that … green pastures.
I bet he is having the same feelings which Ameen Fahim had when he realized that Zardari wasn’t going to make him the PM as he had promised for Ameen’s lip locking at the whole fake benazir’s will fiasco.
At least I am very happy that Aitezaz’s efforts all went in vain !! back stabbing CJ for petty benefits.
Re: Poor Aitezaz.... Na Khuda hi Mila na wisaal-e-Sanam
What are you talking about? For this corrupt besharam CJ? He should have resigned the day proof of his son's corruption produced in SC. magar besharmon ko kabhi sharam nahin aati.

Allegations of corruption, that SC has asked the government to investigate and taken action against anyone found guilty. The government meant Zardari and Gillani.
PPP has given us the break-up of Pakistan because the ego of ZAB was such that he would not settle for anything less than being PM even if he did not win an election. It resulted in nationalisation of large and successful Pakistani companies for which we are still paying the price today. BB also had a big ego and had at least one of her brother murdered. She also indulged in corruption with her hubby Zardari. She betrayed the Khalistan movement. PPP worked with CIA to assassinate General Zia. She who lives by the sword died by the sword. I don't expect any better from Bilawal than corruption and disloyalty to the country.
Pakistan was a fairly successful country and ahead of countries like South Korea until the Bhutto family entered politics.
Re: Poor Aitezaz.... Na Khuda hi Mila na wisaal-e-Sanam
a true slap on his face and if he has some ghairat he should die at the spot but these type of bay ghairat always support this type of corrupt and shameful govt !
Re: Poor Aitezaz.... Na Khuda hi Mila na wisaal-e-Sanam
Also after every military government the PPP is parachuted into power by the Americans to destroy the little progress it makes under the Army rule. So it is not surprising whose interests they will serve.

What progress was made under Zia's mis rule.
I am happy that you still maintain a balance. You may not like present PPP set up other are worst. I pray that next government be of N$ or IK and then see the difference. These all will either change their nicks or run away like gaday ke sar se seeng.
Re: Poor Aitezaz… Na Khuda hi Mila na wisaal-e-Sanam
Aitzaz gives his own spin to what’s the best revenge. If this whole fiasco is anything to go by, it wouldn’t be wrong to say “Hiring me as your defense lawyer after you snubbed me earlier is the best revenge”
Mr. Gilani, you just got served. Thanks for not appealing the court decision after close discussion with the “defense team”. Shoulda done it, woulda bought you some more time.

Assumptions. And from the chorus of affirmations it's obvious that only the CJ and his son are innocent until proven guilty. For others, this rule doesn't apply.

I wonder why? Why did the SC not let parliament investigate memogate? Do you see any consistancy in SC's conduct? I don't remember them telling the media to be responsible when it was after Haqqani.
This SC is so political that I have no trust in it. They want to make government look bad. If government decide that CJ did something wrong, his supporters will accuse them of bias. If they acquit CJ's son, people will accept the decision.

Commission is the right forum to collect all the facts, especially when different pillars of the state are taking opposite views. The SC may not be perfect but it is doing the best it can...which is clear to the majority of the population.
