Not that i believe polygamy is encouraged or anything but i do understand what PCG is trying to say. Men who so vehemently defend their right to polygamy seem nowhere to be found when an actual disaster happens and women are left to fend for themselves. In my humble opinion, the reason for polygamy was/is social justice.*** I don't see how social justice is served when a man marries another woman because he lusts after her. . . but when women could actually be helped by polygamous marriages, men are nowhere to be found.***

Please refrain from generalising. I am sure there are plenty men in Pakistan willing to marry (not necessarily second, third or fourth, rather their first marriage).

This thread is kinda a dumb - there are already plenty men in pakistan (more men then women) - therefore polygamy is not required.
