Personally , I enjoy going to dawats that have a variety of dishes ... makes it easier for me to choose what i like ...
when there is limited choice, I get stuck coz i am a choosey eater :@:

plz apnii raaye kabhii na denaa kisii host ko varna maiN to phir us da'wat meN nahiiN jaauuNgaa...i love a wide selection...maiN to Casino chalaa jaauuNgaa jahaN lunch buffet men kam se kam 100 dishes hotii haiN, including Indian Menu :)

I enjoy a dawat where the host isnt very formal :D and the overall environment is comfortable to be present in....
dishes dont really matter....I dont eat much either ways.....

option 2.....ek itminaan rehta hai ke haye yeh bhi kha sakte hain woh bhi kha sakte hain. ufff kitni variety hai yum yum

There should be third option too , I enjoy going to all kinds of dawaats , I go there to talk to folks , mingle , have a blast by gupshuping . I do not care about what kind or quantity of food is served. Even if I cannot find a thing to eat I do not mind because I and my wife can cook the best food :alhamd: .
I tell folks who would ask me for a dawaat for some mundane reason that “Hurmaray ghar main toh roz hee dawaat ka khana pakta hay , kisee bhee din tashreef lay ain.” :snooty: :alhamd:

i love dawats...doesnt matter, one dish, 8 dishes, no dishes. just like to meet aunties and like to listen to them :D

is it only me then , who feels so tired of eating apnay haat ka khana that i crave to get dawat invitations so that i can eat kisi aur kai haat ka khana :hinna:

Not a big fan of dawats but still if I had to choose then Option 2 is better. Variety of dishes makes it more fun.

same here, I love anyone else’s home made food. the thing I look forward to most at davats is the food (adn dressing up :@: )

I like the occaisional dawat, but usually end up going to them back to back, which can be pretty exhausting, especially as I get such little free time.

Not too fussed if its option 1 or 2. As long as the company's good and the food is cooked well.
