Political party or kingdom

Prince of the kingdom, his highness Lord Bilawal is going to take over the party chairmanship (or should I say Kingship) of PPP. The News’s first line is *Bilawal Zardari will formally launch his political career as chairman of PPP on August 7 …

hahaha, he is LAUNCHING his political career as the CHAIRMAN**. ***What a deal he got.

Two questions…

  1. Why the biggest boosters of Jamhooriyat and self claimed leaders of democracy in Pakistan run their own party as a kingdom? Baap ke baad biwi, phir beti phir nawaasa.

  2. What pakistani political knowledge does that party goer, night club attender, loose jeans rapper has to be qualified for that post*?

*Pakistani politics makes me vomit.

Re: Political party or kingdom

Indeed Pakistani Politics is A ****

I would love to see Bhutto and PPP lovers and sympathisers justify this one.

No justification, but why only PPP is target?
every party is same here.

Re: Political party or kingdom

^ which other party has this 'lineage' going, ideas?

Re: Political party or kingdom

Capt. there is no big difference just koi kana hai koi lula koi langda. choice is your

Re: Political party or kingdom

other parties have not been tested yet, their kings dont die

NS has his brother 2nd in charge. pathetic

That is true to an extent, but to their credit his brother is ALREADY in politics. No one in PMLN has made statement that Ganja or his brother's son will takeover as party leadership in few years like PPP already made an underage leader of party, keep giving statements of handing over leadership to chunnu bhutto.

Re: Political party or kingdom

I hate the fact that even in democracies you have people coming into power just because they are the son or the daughter or somebody. It sort of defeats the purpose of a democracy doesn't it? We see this everywhere. With Zardari in Pak, Gandhis in India, Bush in the US.. wtF !

Hate it.

Re: Political party or kingdom

Do we really think Pakistani people (awam) have any say in Pakistani politics?

Even Zardari came through backdoor in to power.

Re: Political party or kingdom

Only landlords (and family), bureaucrats(and family) and army generals(and family) can be in power in Pakistan. There is no place for common people, social workers, sports heroes etc

Elite class think of it as their right to rule the peasants

Re: Political party or kingdom

Jamat E Islami!

Re: Political party or kingdom

PPP leadership:

Baap, Beti, Mian, Beta.

What does Bilalwal care about Pakistan? Does this guy know how to speak urdu or any other Pakistani tongue. I would be surprised if he had more then a handful of friends.

When you can't go any lower, you do.

Re: Political party or kingdom

party boes not matter the thing which matters is that they must unite and do some thing for the country. not pull each others legs.

Hamza Sharif has already become an MNA, and will take over the party in the future.

Moonis Elahi will take over PML-Q from his father Chaudry Shujaat.

All this is well known.

Because charity starts from home, and if PPP (or any other party) truly believes in democracy than why are they practicing dynastic politics?

Myth/propaganda.

When BB died, the Central Executive Committee voted. They decided to vote for Zardari as Chairman, and Bilawal Co-Chairperson.

Same system is used by parties in many countries to elect their leaders.

If voters don't like their decision, they have the right not to vote for them.

Again, you concentrate on PPP, but ignore this in ever other party.

announce it or not, policy is almost the same

NS PM, SS CM and who leads the party when NS goes to jail? Kulsoom Nawaz. Mark my words, Hamza is going to be next leader....

You can not give a name of SINGLE party where crown has gone outside the family except for 2 parties MQM and Jamat-e-Islami but they have their own problems. To Jamat's credit they at least held elections for their ameer. For MQM it does not even go in the family it stays with altaf hussain "bhai" !

Many people have noticed (and many have not that) how quietly and swiftly all the politicians got united and stripped the requirement of party-election out of the constitution. Not that they were having the elections anyway but why even have it in constitution when it can come out an haunt you in future?

Re: Political party or kingdom

:omg:

Pakistan so needs a revolution…

Also the word dictator was original used for a man who held office of frst consul for four years… these days its reffered to a leader who rules the country with an iron fist.

I am up for any system so long as it works… so yeah Democracy, Monarchy, Dictatorship, Warring states, Junta, Theocracy… anything so long as it is good for the people and the country of Pakistan.

But i have yet to see a system that works in my country the day i see it i’ll devote my mortal soul to it. :salute:

Pakistan Zindabaad! :jhanda:
