In case some people missed this very important point from my earlier article:-

The Baroda Municipal Corporation did not heed a compromise formula offered by the caretakers of the dargah of Sufi saint Syed Rashiuddin Chisti and simply went ahead with the demolition of the structure because the local BJP leaders were keen to see this "mini-Babri Masjid" completely destroyed.

The hindus are the ones being hypocrites. When the malaysians destroyed a century old hindu templea couple of weeks ago for development purposes its portrayed as hindus being oppressed. However, on the reverse end, when its hindus tearing down a legally sanctioned masjid and shootinf to death two peaceful protestors who just happened to be muslim its called development. I think we can clearly see who the hypocrites are.

Had anyone of hindus brought this issue here and taken it seriously, then it would have been an hypocrisy on our part. Did we?...besides i am listening this incident from you. If malaysian government had not taken hindus into confidnence, then it is wrong on their part for doing that.

This was not just a Muslim thing. The daily diya and daily expenditure were borne by Hindus. The Ranchhodbhai Masala family has been pouring in funds for at least 75 years, generation after generation.

Well if you (Silly) really want to dissect the article then you should take a note of this also.

Baroda mayor Sunil Solanki claimed this dargah was "nothing special. It was just an encroachment, like many others. We have also razed 18 Hindu religious structures. There were protests even then. However, when the dargah was razed, the protest turned violent.

And I am not quoting this to justify the demolition of the dargah. I am just trying to be very clear about it as I know some people here will love to attack me on quoting this.

Definitely it is convenient in both the cases. Under the name of development if hindu temples can be......then even dargahs can be......... Ofcourse with the prior permission, consultation of every religious leader or representatives.

But in this case, it seems modi is again back to his tricks.

Dwellings?? Read again - its religious structures
Its a simple comparison....whether it is sufficient justification is definitely debatable. And I love that assumption of "Innocent peaceful...." - but yes in Modi's Gujarat it is surely possible that they were peaceful and still force was used against them.
To the more sane ones on this discussion - the point is that people pick up passages that are so convenient to their point of view and completely sidestep the other points....

I did not post any article about killings of Hindus nor **Muslims. **All I am saying is you do not need to defend those jerks (not you, not the whole Pakistan or all the muslims) just because they belong to your religion or country.

It may have come out as in their “defense”, I merely pointed out the mistake in defintion of hypocricy. Yes people are out there to criticize/ridicule others, I only criticize the wrong deeds whether its by Pakistani government, suicide bombers in Iraq/Israel or anywhere else but many people fail to rise above the bias.

Did not I say I think Modi is involved in that, just like the militants were involved in the killing of those 22 people in Kashmir. So what’s the point? Can you please state that.

You probably did mention and I wanted to remove the question when I read it in full but somehow it got posted unedited.

Well, hundreds of temples were also destroyed hundreds of years ago, I never talked about that, nor do I feel that it’s wise or humane to justify the demolition of one Babri Masjid with the demolition of hundreds of temples.
No one should bear the brunt of the deeds of their forefathers.

I agree that many temples were demolished and they were wrong but we are not discussing “history” so we should stick with current affairs.
