kuch to hawa bhi sard thi,kuch tha tera khayal bhi
dil ko khushi k sath sath hota raha malaal bhi

sab se nazar bacha k woh mujh ko kuch aise dekhta
aik dafa to ruk gayi gardish-e-mah-o-saal bhi

us ko na pa sake they jab dil ka ajeeb haal tha
ab jo palat k dekhie baat thi kuch mahaal bhi

meri talab tha aik shakhs woh jo nahin mila to phir
haath dua se yun gira bhool gaya sawaal bhi

sham ki na samajh hawa pooch rahi hai aik pata
moj-e-hawa-e-koo-e-yaar kuch to mera khayal bhi

Aankhon ney kaisay khawab tarashay hain in dinon
Dil per ajeeb rang utray hain in dinon

Rakh apney paas apney mah o mehar aey falak
Ham khud kisi ki aankh key taray hain in dinon

Dast e sehar ney maang nikali hey baarha
