ab agya hai jeena, hamay zaat baich kar

hum bhi kya ajab hai kay kari dhoop kay talay
sehra khareed laye hain barsaat baich kar

sanoo'n ki harat mai pighal janay ka mousam
aya hai teri anch mai jal janay ka mousam

hum ko nahi maloom tha hai ishq ka aghaaz
yadoo'n mai kahi door nikal janay ka mousam

lagta hai kay chehray pay tery tehar gya hai
yak lakht kaye rung badal janay ka mousam

aye shehr-e-tasali teray mashkoor hai lakin
aya hi nahi dil kay sanbhal janay ka mousam

ye shehr-e-tamana bhi anookha hai kay is par
barsaat mai bhi rahta hai thal janay ka mousam

chehray pay agarcha hai meray subha ka ujala
ankhoo'n mai magar sham kay dhal janay ka mousam
